Whe were films about Mr Anatol’s so popular?

„A comedy at last!" – such screams could be heard when the film by Jan Rybkowski appeared.

At that time viewers could see only films which were tragic, full of dramatic conflicts, sad and hopeless. It seems to be the reason that films about Mr Anatol

were so popular and when one decided to go to the cinema to see it, it was very difficult to get a ticket

for the film.
