Camera AnglesGuardians of the Galaxy is a
science fiction blockbuster and is by far the most
successful film produced by Marvel.
The DOP makes use of fast paced editing as it is a highly
action packed film which requires a lot of jump cuts
and diverse camera angles, in order to get every significant shot and cover all the action that is actually taking place.
Editing & Mise-en-sceneGuardians of the galaxy contained
mostly fast paced editing because there was a lot of action shots to
cover.The Mise-en-scene included many
props like laser guns and many gadgets.
Apart form that the clothing they wore was very important as it
represented their character and individuality in the film.
SoundThe soundtrack contained music from the 80’s only to add a bit of humor
and diversity to the movie.The background music was mostly fast paced as it needed to fit with the
scene which was filled with action.
Camera Angles
Spiderman is a science fiction blockbuster and is by far the most successful film series
produced by Marvel.The DOP makes use of fast paced editing as well as slow paced editing as it is a highly action packed film but it has slow intimate shots as well which make use of the slow paced editing in order to get
every significant shot and cover all the action and intimacy that is actually
taking place.
Editing & Mise-en-Scene The director of Spiderman has
introduced the audience to a feeling of aspiration through a variety of different techniques
and captures the viewer’s attention to the smallest details
with great success and deliverance to become the
character that is Peter Parker. Much like other action packed
movies, the Spiderman also consisted of fast paced editing but at the same time use slow
paced editing at parts where he was interacting with his loved ones to show intimacy.
The Mise-en-scene consisted mostly of props like costumes for the
hero himself and the villains as well. A lot of weaponry was used
for the antagonists.
Soundtrack
Spider-Man: Original Motion Picture Score is the Soundtrack for the
film of the same name. It was released on June 4,
2002. The score combines traditional orchestration,
ethnic percussion and electronic elements. A CD release of the score came
out from Sony's label.
