This is the first part of the making of the poster. You can see here, that we are using the Adobe Photoshop program, to edit our chosen photo from the pictures taken by Toni. This was the first step, when we simply took the original photo and transferred it onto Photoshop

In this caption, you can see that we have enlarged the image, and prepared the image for cropping. We have also started to change the colour of the piece to make the two characters in the picture more obvious, and stand out better.

Here you can see one major development from the last caption. This is the addition of the title. We have put the title into the picture, and in the process started to play around with the positioning of the title. We also then started to play around with the colour, to see what suits the picture the best.

In this caption, you can see that again we have played around with the title. Firstly we have changed the colour, in order to make the letters stand out more with the opposing colours in the background. We have also changed the position, moving the title to the top of the poster, making it more obvious, and one of the first things that the audiences eyes see. We have then started to play around with the tag line, and in this caption, you can see us beginning to write it in.

In this caption you can see three fundamental changes from the last one. The first of these again is the title. Once again we have changed the positioning of the title, and the colour. We have also added the tag line, putting it just below the title, giving them a connection. And then the final thing we have added to the poster is the names of the actors at the top.

In this caption, you can see that we have added both colour and the age certificate for the film. We have added the colour red, as it is a stereotypical colour to use, and is conventional to use in horror and thriller films, which ours is. We have also added the certificate 15. This is because the film will contain scenes of a sexual nature and disturbing images.

This was the final alteration to our Finished poster that you can see in this caption. What we did was to alter the fonts of the writing on the page, to make them suit the genre more.
