Visual Effects & Colour SchemeFor visual effects you see a couple sitting at a café talking about robbing banks and for the lighting there is lot of light everywhere because they are sat by the window but there are some shady parts of and shadows of the characters. This gives the audience the impression that it might be an action film or a crime drama.

Genre Conventions In most crime action films it is very common for people to be talking about robbing a bank also they stand up at the end the end of the scene and point guns at everyone.

Narrative

Its starts off with two people in a café eating breakfast and then we find out that they are talking about robbing banks but then they decided to rob the café. But the man doesn’t want to do any shop robbing anymore because they aren’t making enough money so they decided to rob the café then start on banks.

Editing Techniques

Throughout the whole scene everything is moving quit fast this gives the audience the idea that it’s an action/crime film, but if everything was moving slowly it wouldn’t have the same effect because it wouldn’t make you want to carry on watching it. This is most commonly used in crime/action films because they want you to keep guessing what might happen next instead of giving it away straight away.

Title Credit DesignThere was no opening title or title in the opening scene.
