We was very kindly intreatedwhile we stayed there for therewass one here and anotherthere asking us to come andeat with them on the Sabathday we met together again andhad very good meetings wevisited the brethren and sisterson the monday and BrotherFielding baptized the manthat had 2 sons and 1 dauterin the church his Name wasNixon November 17th we wentand visited the brethren andSisters and sister Jane Fawkesgave me a pocket hankerchiefand the brethren dealedvery kindly with one andabout 1 oclock in the afternoonwe took leave of them

raised them up for[-]hich I felt to praise the lordwednesday afternoon May 12went to Brother Daleys -litle after 5 in the afternoonfound sister Daley in bed[-]ather poorly I went up[-]o her and asked her whatwass the matter she[-]miled at me and did[-]ot want to tell me Ithen looked at her and[-]sked her what she would[-]hink if I told her whatwass the matter with her[-]e then laughed at meknew Daley and her Brother &[-]ife up to the canall to see themway from carlisle for liverpool[-]nd then for america we wass[-]ost part of an hour to soon[-]nd I felt for the first time to pen[-]nd make a litle poetry at their[-]eparture I made and sang the[-]ollowing lines by the canall in When you are fled and goneremember those thats leftand offer up your prayers to godto gather up the blessedFor
