Batu Cermin or Mirror Rock Cave is located near Labuan Bajo, East Nusa Tenggara. The cave covers an area over 19
hectares and 75 metres high. The sunlight that breaks on the sidelines of the stone is reflected so it gives the impression of
gloss on the stone (Mirror Cave). The reflection stone later became the origin name of Batu Cermin Cave.
The stone in Batu Cermin Cave contains salt particles causing the stone sparkle when it is exposed to light. To enjoy the gleaming stone, tourists need to go to 20 metres deep with a narrow tunnel along 200 metre. In a rainy season, visitors can also enjoy the glowing puddle of water in the cave.
Batu Cermin Cave also has stalactites and stalagmites. It also overs views of fossil corals, turtles and tortoises in the
cave wall. The fossil also contain salt particles. The fossil scenery looks very clearly.
There are white long rock formations which close to the incoming sunlight. The cave is also enlivened by the presence
of animals such as bats, spiders and crickets.
The low sunlight in the cave causes the cave quite humid. Therefore, a tour is limited only 10 participants only for 30
minutes. Then, they should alternate with the other visitors. The visitors must not touch the stones in the cave because if it is
touched human hands, it will loose salt particles not sparkle again.

Maimun Palace Maimun Palace is a tourist destination in North Sumatra which has historical and cultural values. Located at Jalan
Brigjen Katamso, Aur, Medan, this palace is iconic to Medan.
