The European Business Assembly(EBA) honoured Mr. Soumitro Chakraborty, CEO – Fiinovation with the pres-tigious International Socrates Award - “Queen Victoria” commendation for his commitment, dedication and achievements in innovative Social Initiatives in CSR and Sustainability. The award ceremony was held at the Interna-tional Achievements Forum held at Institute of Directors, London, United Kingdom on 22nd March 2016.

The Europe Business Assembly (EBA) is an international corporation for the evolution and promotion of economic and social development and links between companies, investors, education establishments, cities and countries worldwide. The annual forum, organized by EBA, is for individuals, professionals & enterprises from over 60 coun-tries in Europe, Asia and the Americas, that recognizes and felicitates those with exceptional strategic vision and contribution, support an exchange of ideas, experiences amongst the community in the areas of economics, poli-tics, social agenda, etc. The Forum was supported by Academic Union, Oxford and Thames Valley Chamber of Com-merce Group.

Mr. Soumitro Chakraborty, a social entrepreneur, motivated by the need to bring about constructive and meaningful social change, created a niche in the CSR and Sustainability industry. With an expertise for nearly a decade now, proved his mettle converting challenges into opportunities and conducting thor-ough research and providing simple, strategic solutions. He serves on the board of several organizations as an advisor and is currentlycurrently an active Committee Member of the CII Northern Region: Regional Committee on Affirmative Action apart from being a panelist, speaker, jury and moderator visiting faculty to some institutions, forum and conferences, etc. The EBA had hon-oured him as the 'Manager of the Year' in year 2014 as well.
