• The Future is Green Ltd. is a UK-based company with a growing portfolio of

products and services in the “green” technology area.

• We enable businesses and other organisations both to save money on their

utilities and other services, and to reduce their carbon footprint.

• We have an energy broking business where we use our buying power to get the

best deals for our customers, frequently achieving savings way beyond what they

could get for themselves by “shopping around” independently. In some cases,

we‟ve enabled our customers to make savings of up to 30%.

• Other products include LED lighting, and a revolutionary modular (and reusable)

office concept, with many more being evaluated.

• Our advisory services are FREE to our customers, so you get the benefit of

having your own purchasing manager without having to hire one!

• We are proud of our ethical integrity. We will never try to sell anyone a product or

service that does not offer a genuinely better deal.

• The Future is Green Ltd. is able to obtain

savings on electricity and gas of up to 30%.

• We use our buying power to seek out the best

deals from all UK suppliers.

• We will arrange a seamless transfer of

supplier when necessary – it is the same

electricity and gas and comes through the

same cables and pipes!

• If you are still in contract with your existing

supplier(s) we‟ll make a note to review your

contract when it is due for renewal.

• We can even analyse your past energy bills

and tariffs, and secure refunds where you‟ve

been over-charged!

LED lighting

10 October 2010 5 Introduction to The Future is Green Ltd.

Lighting for business premises using the latest LED technology:

• Provides a better quality light at a very much lower operating cost – costs

are typically only 25% of those for conventional lighting

• Longer lasting (typical lifespan, dependent on usage, is around 10 years)

and more reliable, offering additional savings on maintenance and

replacement costs

• The range includes replacements for fluorescent tubes, spot-lights,

floodlights and street lighting as well as conventional light-bulbs, usually

with no re-wiring necessary

• Eligible for enhanced tax allowances

• Many companies will be eligible for an interest free loan from the Carbon

Trust to pay for purchase and installation.

Environmental and Energy

Management Systems Consultancy

10 October 2010 7 Introduction to The Future is Green Ltd.

We are able to provide services to assess your company‟s management systems

which will provide recommendations on actions to ensure compliance with

statutory regulations relevant to your business.

In a fiercely-competitive world, being “green” could provide a real edge for you.

Being able to demonstrate “green” credentials is increasingly a pre-requisite to be

short-listed for public sector business opportunities.

And there are cost-savings to be made from implementing Environmental and/or

Energy Management Systems. A company in the north-west of England has

recently reported savings on energy spending of around 20% for several years in

succession simply by adopting a rigorous Energy Management System compliant

with BS EN 16001.

Other service-lines being

considered

10 October 2010 8

We‟re currently evaluating a number of other service-lines in the “green” energy and

other carbon footprint reduction areas.

These include:

• Solar power generation. If you have a big enough roof, you could become a

power station!

• Real-time energy consumption monitoring and reporting. This may include an

alarm option to alert you to unpredicted consumption patterns.

• Technology to optimise the operation of any electric motor. This reduces

power consumption and increases operational life.

If you know of a service that might fit into our portfolio – or have a suggestion for

an area that we should investigate – please let us know.

refunds if, as is common, you have been over-charged

• Mobile „phones and fixed-line telephone services

• Business advisory services

If you need business support in any area, please let us know. We will
