SUNDAYS BETWEEN THE MASSES

begins June 4th

Call Margaret, 754-5305

See how the Gospel witness spread outward, from Jerusalem to Judea and Samaria, and finally to the ends of the earth. Share with the early Christians the joys and struggles of living the life of Christ, and learn how these apply to us today. See how the Holy Spirit guided the apostles into Truth. Observe the way the Spirit-filled Church adapted to new cultures when proclaiming the Gospel. Watch the seeds of Church structure and authority take root, and see how conflicts were resolved even at that early stage. See your place in Christ’s Church, and how you should live.

Every other year, Catholic young people and their chaperones—youth ministers, campus ministers, parents, catechists, priests, coaches, and scout lead-ers—come together to pray, learn, and grow in their faith. In addition to opportunities to receive the sacraments of the Eucharist and penance, NCYC participants attend general and breakout sessions on topics relevant to living as a disciple of Christ in today's world, visit with organizations that provide resources and other support to youth and youth ministry, spend time in personal and communal prayer, and engage in service to others. The Archdiocese of Oklahoma City delegates (9-12 grade youth and chaperones) will travel by chartered bus departing Wednesday evening, November 15th from the Catholic Pastoral Center. Our return trip will be Sunday afternoon, November 19th.

$100 deposit is due May 21st .

CONFIRMATION RETREAT

Teacher Training in Oklahoma City NATURAL FAMILY PLANNING

June 1-4, 2017

Natural Family Planning (NFP) is an umbrella term for certain methods used to achieve and avoid pregnancies. These methods are based on observation of the naturally occurring signs and symptoms of the fertile and infertile phases of a woman’s menstrual cycle. NFP reflects the dignity of the human person within the context of marriage and family life, promotes the openness to life, and recognizes the value of the child. A teacher training has been scheduled for June 1-4, 2017 at the Catholic Pastoral Center, 7501 N.W. Expressway, Oklahoma City. The training begins Thursday night at 6:30 pm, concluding on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. For training registration information go to boma-usa.org. For lodging and meal information please call the Office of Family Life (405)721-8944 or visit our website at archokc.org.
