WELCOME TO OUR GUESTS

We hope you will find your time of worship with us to be very

meaningful. You are invited to become a

member of our church family. Please visit

our website www.pcbv.org, talk to

a pastor or call the Church Office at 855-2390 if you

would like to learn more about us. For Pastoral

Emergencies, please call (479) 685-9130.

The Number of Love by Roseanna M. White Located at: FIC Whi N

Three years into the Great War, England’s greatest asset is their intelligence work. Margo DeWilde thrives in the environment where she spends her days deciphering intercepted messages. But when her world is turned upside

down by an unexpected loss, she discovers that numbers aren’t enough. Be sure to check out this book along with a long list of others in YOUR Church Library. If you have books to return, please place them in the basket to be checked in.

BIRTHDAYS THIS WEEK:

February 8 … Emery Humphries

February 11 … Norie Allen Florence Riter

Coffee Talk … Your Session has been thinking about ways we can stay in touch during these social distanced times. We are going to try a Fellowship Hour by Zoom on

Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at 10:00 am. If you have an internet connection, a smartphone, a tablet, a laptop computer, or a computer with a camera and mic, you can join us. A Zoom invitation link will be sent out on Monday, February 8th with instructions on how you can join us. You’ll be able to see your friends face to face and visit. We will give a Session update and end with prayers for ourselves, each other, and our Nation. All are welcome!

The Souper Bowl of Caring is TODAY, Sunday, February 7. Proceeds from funds donated will be given to the SnackPacks for Kids program, helping to fight childhood hunger. SnackPacks go to 165 schools in four counties throughout Northwest Arkansas during the school year. You can drop your donation off in the Church Office or mail your check. Please earmark your check “Souper Bowl”. Please give generously.

We will have a Lenten study led by Rev. Dr. Ronnie Prevost, entitled “Illuminating Lent” by Donald McKim. The 6 week class will meet on Tuesdays at 3:00 pm starting on Tuesday, February 23 and ending on March 30. The first few sessions will probably be held via Zoom. If you are interested in being a part of this class, please call the Church Office at (479) 855-2390 by Tuesday, February 9 to sign up. Books are $7 each.

Worship Services Continue … Well, sort of … Session has approved resuming live-streaming of our Sunday worship services through the end of March. Please note that there will be NO congregation present at this time. The only people present in the Sanctuary will be our limited worship team. Guest preachers will pre-record their sermons with the rest of the service being live. This decision was made in an abundance of caution to keep our congregation safe in these trying times. You can stream the service on our church website, our Facebook page, and on YouTube at 10:00 am. Please continue to mail or drop off your pledges to the church. Please don’t hesitate to call the Church Office if you have any questions or prayer requests. Please stay safe and well. God bless you all.

Jean Nichols, Worship Committee Moderator
