Roy and Elaine met Jan. 19, 1952 when Roy lived in Dodge Center.. He went to Hayfield with friends looking for girls, and that is when he met the love of his life. It was love at first sight. They dated for 5 years before they married March 8, 1958, at the Trinity Lutheran church in Hayfield. They have 5 children, 10 grand-children and 6 great grandchildren. They have been married for 59 years, and their love is still just as strong, and it shows.
The Resident’s chose Heather because they said “she is very good at what she does. “ When asked what she likes best about her job she said “I love helping others, taking care of the elderly because it makes me feel like I am giving back for all my grandparents have done for me.” She has a 2 year old daughter named Lauren. She is her everything and they both enjoy helping on her daddy’s farm. She enjoys 4-H and helping others. She also loves taking care of animals as well. She helps her fam-ily get ready for fairs and show animals. She hopes to keep smiles on the Resident’s faces and make them smile when they are sad. It brings my heart great joy to be apart of this great facility.
