*On-campus offerings include Business Management & Legal Office; an Arts & Humanities pathway is currently being created

*Off-campus offerings include: Health Sciences, Administrative Support, Business Management, Auto Technology, Information Technology, Machine Tool/Welding, & Carpentry (ATC)

*The ATC is a great way to explore a variety of career pathways as a junior/senior.

*Diploma requirements have shifted to accommodate students interested in both College AND Career Readiness.

*Potential certifications such as CPR, MNA, ASE Certification, IC-3, and much more!

*Fulton County ATC ranks 17th out of 53 ATCs in Kentucky on Career Readiness Measures!

*Diploma Types

*Students have the opportunity to earn the FHS Diploma or the Mastery Diploma

*Significant changes to the Mastery Diploma were approved for the upcoming school year in order to increase the emphasis on CCR, promote the ATC, and accommodate students in reaching College AND Career Readiness measures

*FHS Diploma Requirements (Minimum Graduation Requirements)

*English: 4

*Math: 3 (Math every year)

*Science: 3

*Social Studies: 3

*HVPA: 1

*Health/PE: 1

*Electives: 7

• It is required that all students take a math course EVERY year

• Must have completed an ILP every year from grades 6-12 while in a KY school

• ALL seniors must complete a total of 20 community service hours their senior year (logged in ILP)

*Social Studies: 3

• Students must complete a minimum of 3 credits in one career pathway (aka Preparatory)

• Students must meet College and/or Career Readiness

• Only students meeting these requirements will be eligible for Valedictorian, Salutatorian, and Honors Night Speaker

*Promotion Requirements

*Students must pass at minimum 5 courses each year in order to be promoted to the next grade.

*A student must pass their core content courses – failure of one of these courses could result in summer school, prolonged graduation, or in a change in diploma type

*Student Athletes (Student comes first)

*KHSAA requires students to have met a certain percentage of their diploma requirements each year (averages to approximately 6 credits/year) in order to be eligible to play sports.

*Students aspiring to play sports in college need to be aware that a CORE GPA is calculated by NCAA that only includes pre-approved English, Math, Science, & Social Studies Courses.

*Bulldog Academy*Exceptional Sophomore Students may be eligible to participate

with a minimum English score of 25, Reading Score of 22, and GPA of 3.5

Based on Counselor Recommendation

*Students are eligible to be a part of the Bulldog Academy as juniors/seniors*

*Students must meet College Readiness benchmarks on their ACT/COMPASS/KYOTE in English & Reading for all courses but Math which requires Math benchmark.

*Students are placed into courses that satisfy their college general education requirements.
