volunteering your time at the festival and/or by providing materials to help run your child’s class table. If you have not already done so, please contact your CPR to sign up for a timeslot. You can also help by baking a cake or cooking a dish that is representative of your country for the international food stall. Most importantly, bring plenty of cash. There will be a raffle to win an iPad 32Gb to support the Nations team to compete in the Paddle for Cancer Dragonboat race on 1 September 2013. The race registration fee is 2000CHF. Nations has competed every year bar one and in 2007 they won (there is a dragon trophy at the welcome reception). Tickets will be sold for 1CHF apiece and the artisan merchants will accept cash. Activities will start at 1CHF but food prices will be higher and start at 2CHF. We welcome your extended family and friends.

Sincerely, Nations PTA

You are warmly invited to attend this year’s Festival of Lights, held on the third floor of our Saconnex campus on Friday, 7 December, from 17.00 to 20:00. The Festival of Lights is a celebration of all International Festivities taking place around this time of the year: a fun event for students and parents, a chance to meet and celebrate together as a school community. You will find games, crafts, face painting, Santa, international food and much more! Our children’s classes, as well as other individual artisans and charities, have organized many fun activities, delicious foods and festive amusements for the whole family. These include an elf knockout, face and nail painting, holiday card making, ornament and cupcake decorating, and calligraphy and origami. You can also purchase used books, and gifts from artisans and charities. The event will open with a ten-minute choir performance of holiday carols by some of our younger students, led by our Performing Arts Teacher, Ms Buttle. Your Class Parent Representative may have asked you to participate by
