Nayi Zindagi ki Umang, Swachh Urja ke sang11th December, 2015

Umang 2015, was organized in Dr. Rajender Prasad School, in President Estate onDecember 11th’ 2015. The awardees of the various competitions in Urja Mela,showcased their paintings, science models & Nukkad Natak. Honorable Presidentof India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee, accompanied by Shri Arvind Kejriwal (ChiefMinister-Delhi); Shri Manish Sisodia, (Deputy Chief Minister-Delhi); Shri PraveerSinha (CEO & MD); Shri S.K. Saini (Chief Commercial & SIG) walked through all thestalls, complimenting and motivating the students on their efforts. A portrait,made by one of the student of Energy Club along with messages from students ofdifferent schools, was gifted to Shri Pranab Mukherjee.Honorable President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee, launched Sajag, a smartphone application designed by Tata Power DDL . The app is designed to educatepeople on key areas: calculation of energy usage/saving, identification of energy

efficient applications, energy conservation tips etc.
