Friday is market day in Kufstein
Fridays
Every Friday the Kufstein city park becomes a marketplace: from April 1st the culinary market takes place there, under the motto "Fresh – vital – regional". From 9 am to 2 pm local stand holders offer a varied and regional range of products.

"glück.tage" festival with Veit Lindau & Richard David Precht

Everybody is looking for happiness. But there are many different paths to find it. In Ferienland Kufstein you can sense these paths at the glück.tage 2016. Top-class talks by best-selling authors, such as Dr. Richard David Precht, Veit Lindau and Erwin Thoma, as well as workshops with geomancer Astrid Süßmuth offer a sensitive but also critically scientific look at the vitally important topic of happiness.

Rock & pop festival "Kufstein unlimited" feat. Fritz Kalkbrenner
10th - 12th June, 2016
The huge pop & rock festival is being held for the 6th time, from June 10th to 12th: as in the past, 50 top bands on five stages will provide the atmosphere for the entire Kufstein city centre. On Friday evening the cover band "Voltage – The AC/DC tribute show" will warm the crowd up. On Saturday June 11th, 2016, the German DJ Fritz Kalkbrenner, who reached the Austrian singles chart top 10 last year with his hit song "Back Home", will be the headline act and will transform the Fischergries into an open-air dancefloor. The supporting act is Thorsteinn Einarsson, famous for his song "Leya".

Bringing home the cattle in Kufstein, with "Open Air of Voices"
15th - 18th September, 2016
The Kufstein weekend that the cattle are brought home is this year focused on music. As well as the traditional bringing home the cattle event in the centre of the city, on September 17th there will also be the large "Open Air of Voices" at Kufstein Fortress, with the pop song duo Rita und Andreas, Die Paldauer and Geschwister Hofmann. There will also be a fair at Thiersee, and pre drinks at the Ebbs stud farm.
