CREDENTIALS, INVITATIONS ACCORDING TO LEASED AREA

Depending on the leased area the exhibitor is entitled to a specific amount of credentials. These badges will be delivered at the date indicated. These badges and invitations can be claimed in advance by the Exhibitor at the Customer Service Center – Plus. IN addition to the invitations the exhibitor is entitled to, it is possible to acquire extra invitations presenting the participation contract (packages of minimum 20 invitations, cost per invitation COP $38.000 each).

Terms Of Use Of Credentials

Corferias supply to exhibitors and their employees, badges or special insignia, personal and non-transferable, which allow them to identify themselves as such and authorizes the entrance to the trade fair and other privileges to which they are entitled. Exhibitors will respond for fraud or dishonesty that could try or make themselves, their employees or third parties using such insignia or badges. Any misuse by the exhibitors or their employees, or consent by them, shall entitle Corferias to expel involved exhibitors immediately, without compensation or acknowledgment of any kind and the collection, as a penalty by the mere fact breach, of the sums paid for their participation in the trade fair; in the same way and by the discretion of Corferias they may be punished by the inability to participate in future events organized by Corferias.

Exhibitor badges

These credentials are personal and non-transferable and must be carried by everyone who belong to the

exhibiting company in the stand. Badges must have company’s name, full name and identification number of

people who carry them.

Additional badges

These credentials are equal to the exhibitor badges; they are used when the exhibitor badges delivered

according to the contract are not enough. Exhibitors may acquire them by presenting the participation contract.

These credentials are personal and non-transferable and must be carried by the executives of the exhibiting

company. Badges must have company’s name, full name and identification number of people who carry them.

Additional badges cost: COP $42.000 each.

Assembly badges

Valid only for the stand set up days and shall expire on the first day of the trade fair. They must be carried by

the people involved in the assembly process and are currently working in the building and decoration of the

stands and who will be under the supervision and full responsibility of the exhibiting company. People carrying

these badges must present their ARL and EPS id cards (professional risks and health insurance cards). These

credentials will be delivered without restrictions of amount according to the needs of each exhibitor.

Dismantle badges

They must be carried by the personnel responsible of tearing Down the stand, who has not exhibitor nor

service badges. These credentials will be delivered without restrictions of amount according to the exhibitor's

needs by presenting the good standing form provided by the supervisor of the pavilion when the Fair comes

to its end, as long as the exhibitor has no outstanding foreign trade documents or pending payments. These

badges shall be valid from the day after the trade fair is over and for the time allowed for this activity.

According to the terms established in the leased agreement, all items and /or goods that exhibitors have in

their stand should be adequately insured against all risks and act with or without violence. This is an

essential requirement for your successful participation in any trade fair or event.

The exhibitor may extend their current insurance policy with their insurance company while their

participation in the trade show. If the exhibitor does not have a valid insurance policy and requires this

service, it can be acquired with their insurance company of choice.

The exhibitor must present a copy of the insurance policy to the Floor Supervisor during the first day of the

trade show build up; this is a requirement for the supervisor to deliver the leased area to the exhibitor in

order to start the booth construction and decoration of the space.

Important

According to the Conditions of Participation, integral document of the leasing contract, it is very important to

consider the content of point No. 5.3.1 Security during the Assembly, letter C on page 22 and point No. 8. Normas

de Convivencia letra G de la página 29, which is quoted hereunder:

c. The exhibitor or the person in charge of the assembly shall not store or handle flammable substances or

gas-powered devices, carbon, gasoline or any fuel that represents danger or generate discomfort inside the

pavilion or the venue. In case any of these elements is necessary, they must have written authorization from the

Fire Department and CORFERIA’s Secutiry Management and foresee the required security systems.

g. Refrain from storaging or handling inside the fair ground, flammable liquids and/or materials, Oxidising

substances, fuels, explosives, toxic substances (gasoline, ACPM, carbon, alcohol, pesticides, ether, industrial

detergent, butanol, oils, etc.); cylinders with substances or compressed fluids (gas, oxygen, nitrogen, helium, air,

etc.). For the entry, storage, manipulation and/or usage of any of these elements, it is mandatory to process the

respective technical concept in the Risk Prevention Office of the Administrative Unit of Bogota’s Official Fire

Department and present it to CORFERIA’s Security Management Area for its validation.

The parking lot that will be available for exhibitors of FIB CORFERIAS 2020, will be the parking tower

located at Cra 40 # 22-34. Working hours from 08:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Parking voucher may be purchased in the Customer Service Center – PLUS – located at Corferias, for

COP$PENDING CONFIRMATION. The vouchers will be available for exhibitors starting September 18th,

2020, until September 27TH, 2020.

*The parking voucher will be handled with an intelligent card that will allow you to take one space per

vehicle. In case of lost, this card will have a cost of ½ a legal minim wage.

Consider the following conditions for a successful and uneventful participation

The exhibitor must send, one month before the trade show, the render or photography of the stand to the

assembly management area for approval.

The exhibitor compromises to execute the assembly during the stipulated dates, either if it is executed

directly by the exhibitor or a third party. The infringement of the times assigned for this activity, will entitle

Corferias to impose the penalties stablished in the participation contract.

Only the next day after the end of the show is assigned for the disassembly, any exhibitor will be allowed

to leave before. If after the disassembly date the stand is still assembled on the leased area, Corferias is entitled

to dispose of all the materials that are in it, without taking any responsibility for its care and conservation.

Important Aspects for your Participation

The advertisement of products or services are only allowed inside the contracted stand, every activity done

outside this area will be considered Advertising Activities and will have an additional fee.

Exhibitors must have all the documentation updated. Remember that Corferias is supervised by public entities

like Dian, Invima and Ministry of Health, and is not responsible for the discomforts or inconveniences that may occur

during the Trade Show.

Exhibitors must inform and request authorization from Corferias one month in advance for the organization of

activities, events or shows developed in the Trade Show, that might involve big groups of people.

Consider that one of the requirements for the co-habitation in closed spaces is maintaining optimum levels of

volume (Maximum 45 decibels*). The infringement of this norm involves disciplinary penalties.
