Open self

• Person know one’s personality and is willing to share ideas , thoughts , feelings and values with others , that person is called an open self personality.

• In service sector like…..successfully.

• Very clear to others.

• Share …without shyness , lack of confidence.

• Make helpful , positive interpersonal relations.

• Get better opportunity.

• Give respect to other and get respect .

• Decide your objective

• Say ‘ HELLO ‘ first

• Johari window is method or tool to describe one’s personality.

• Johari window helps us to know our self.

• By using johari window know our self and improve open self area. If I have open self area, I make a good relationships and I win today’s competitive environment.

• I have hidden self personality because I am not share my thoughts , ideas with other person. I have also blind self personality because I don’t know , I have a many good qualities.

Ego states• Ego states are unrelated to

chronological age. Each human being are several human beings , existing at the same time depending upon how the person is behaving at any moment.

• We operate from three ego states.• Parent • Adult• Child

I have done ego states related example

• My cousin always give advise about my education , career , etc… I listen to them , that time he was in parents ego states , I am in positive child ego states. When I give advise my sister about education , career , etc.. That time I was in parents ego states , my sister is in positive child ego states.

• Adult ego state is good .

• Adult ----- Adult solving problem

• Adult control over the transaction.

Transactional analysis• Transactional analysis is one’s

ego states and type of communication.

• Transaction is an arrangement

between human beings to give and take products and services from each

other thus providing gratification

to all involved in the transaction.

Example• When I went to old age home , there was a

elder person. He told to me that you can’t analysis of my SWOT. But after few minutes he told me that you can analysis of my SWOT. Then we had a cross and parallel transaction.

Basic attitude and strokes

• The four basic attitude : • I’m ok ; you are ok • You are ok ; I’m not ok • I’m ok ; you are not ok • I’m not ok ; you are not ok • The person having these qualities can

have a interpersonal skills and parallel transaction and that person become popular , maintain relations.
