Annual FundAppeal 2014-15

School fees cover the costs of educating Felstedians andmaintaining the 80 acre site. A modest surplus allows for thedevelopment of significant projects.

The additional funds provided by the Annual Fund allow theSchool to enhance the programme of over 160 co-curricularactivities and academic societies that are hugely important to the personal growth of Felstedians. The funds have alsoallowed for a number of small projects to be prioritised thathave made an immediate difference to the environment inwhich the pupils learn and play.

The bursary support provided through the Annual Fundprovides financial assistance to those who deserve and need itmost in order to come to and remain at Felsted.

It is thanks to the generosity of Old Felstedians, current andpast parents, governors, staff and friends that the School is able to offer such a diverse range of activities andopportunities over and above the provision included withinschool fees.

The Annual Fund has also provided opportunities forpupils to benefit from a Felsted education through meanstested bursary support. The Fund has shown that gifts of anysize can genuinely help to broaden the excellent educationalprovision of the School.

How will the money be spent? The Fund will run for the academic year and, in the Summer Term, heads of each faculty andleaders of co-curricular activities, in consultation with the Heads and parents, will submitrequests for key equipment and projects that will help to improve their subject area oractivity.
