together vested interests. Policy groups include
alcohol, obesity and tobacco.

GIVING BACK
– OUR GLOBAL REACHThe EQUALS Initiative (Equipment and
Quality support through partnership in
healthcare) is a partnership between RCPI
and the Health Service Executive that
donates equipment from Irish hospitals to
hospitals in less developed countries, and
provides training to improve the quality of
services.
In 2015, a 40 foot container of medical
equipment was shipped to Zambia. To get
