thereby facilitating our ultimate purpose, to know God.

    Our Aims

We believe our communities can only flourish and be protected

from the ills of wider society through promoting authentic

Islamic education rooted in the highest tradition of scholarship

and this means making learning accessible and relevant to

Muslims living in contemporary Britain. Our aims are to:

  • 8/7/2019 Felicity House Fundraiser

    6/49

[1] To establish traditionally inspired contemporary

educational institutions that teach the essential sciences of

Islam through the employment of highly qualified teachers

[2] To provide financial and administrative support to UKbased students seeking to attain sacred knowledge in order

to nurture home grown teachers of the tradition

[3] To develop a wide range of religious and educational

materials in the English language that assist in the

    education of Muslims in Britain

Our Strategyis to maximise impact and widen the circle of

benefit to encompass whole communities. All our students are

therefore encouraged to reach out and engage with the peopleof their own localities through teaching and lending support to

any community based initiative that promotes morality and

good practice; once again the principle of knowledge rooted in

    practice.

Our Approach: As we hold a conviction that sacred

education is a birthright that begins before birth, our

approach to education is not limited to a particular age

group education really is about life long learning from the

cradle to the grave. We also recognise the central role of

parents in their childrens education so one of our priorities

is the establishment of a nursery facility that joins up early

years education with parenting training and support.

sphere of classical education here in the UK, the Trust has beenable to gain regular access to a network of senior international

Islamic scholars and has simultaneously built partnerships with

educational institutions, the length and breadth of the UK.

(availability, cost, suitability) are becoming increasingly difficult

to overcome and are proving to be a hinderance to the further

development of our work. We have grown to a point where we

Greensville Trust therefore requires funding to establish Felicity
