FEEDBACK REPORT
This year’s Qurbani programme was Ummah Welfare Trust’s largest ever, alhamdulillah. Almost 18,000 of your animals were sacrificed and their meat distributed to poor Muslims in 17 different countries.
Thanks to you the blessings of Eid reached the poor, the orphaned and the displaced. For many of them, it was the first time that were able to enjoy meat this year!
Your offerings brought smiles and happiness. Not only did you ensure that the Sunnah of Qurbani was upheld, but you also ensured that our poor brothers and sisters could eat as they ought to on the special days of Eid.
May Allah accept your sacrifices!

The joys of Eid were brought to hundreds of thousands of families across Asia this year. The largest Qurbani programme in the region took place in India’s West Bengal region, where 4,199 cows were sacrificed. The meat here was distributed across hundreds of poor Muslim villages.
The next largest programme was for Afghan refugees in Pakistan who benefitted from 2,505 of your animals. Thousands of refugees living in camps in the country’s north-west border regions were given Udhiyyah to enjoy, alhamdulillah.
Further inland in Pakistan, over 1,000 cows and goats were sacrificed to feed tens of thousands of families in KPK, Punjab and Sindh. Alhamdulillah, a further 3,000 families in mountainous Kashmiri district of Bagh were also given your Udhiyyah.
Thousands of miles east, in Bangladesh, 120 animals were sacrificed and its meat distributed to poor families in Dinajpur, Panchargarh and Thakurgaon. And across the border in Burma, 100 large cows fed 1,500 families, many of whom were Rohingya Muslims in Arakan.
In the Far East, a large programme in the South Philippines saw Udhiyyah meat distributed to hundreds of families in poor fishing villages.
