Summary of Audience Feedback

Audience Feedback Summary:Overall what the audience liked was the different camera shots used within our trailer especially the handheld as it made the action seem more realistic and made the audience feel involved with the action. Also they liked the camera shots as it showed then storyline through a variety of perspectives for the audience and helped them feel engaged easily. They also thought that the use of the background music helped show the genre well and gripped them to the trailer. Alongside this they thought that the use of the scream is successful as it expected in this type of genre trailer and makes the audience tense as they don't know what to expect.

However most people didn't like the lack of dialogue at the beginning as they weren't introduced to the story well enough and thought that there should be more speaking to make the audience automatically engaged and introduced the storyline. Also they thought that there should be more title screens and for a shorter time as it drags the trailer out and makes it abit boring.

From this when recording more footage for our trailer we will include more components to add dialogue to introduce the audience to the characters and to the storyline. We will complete this by using a handheld camera where the characters will talk directly to the camera to involve the audience. Also when editing our second draft we will add more title screens to tell the storyline and the feelings of the characters more.

From this feedback we plan to film more additional footage using different shot types to display more action happening within the storyline. Also we will film more footage which is direct and engaging for the audience as they will be spoken towards through the use of the handheld camera. From this it will allow us to create more of an engaging production and therefore encourage the audience to go and watch the film through the use of more information into the storyline and the use of more shot types. This will allow us to make a more fast paced and dramatic story for the audience to watch.
