ANDRITZ bucket elevators are designed for vertical conveying of grain, granulates, pellets, and meal products. The bucket elevators are manu-factured for industrial use in modern processing plants where a high de-gree of automation requires solid and reliable construction. The BE series bucket elevators are designed for high capacity – up to 270 m3/h at a maximum height of 50 m and are also designed to be dustproof to meet the requirements of a variety of feed and biofuel applications.

MODULAR CONSTRUCTIONThe design of the BE bucket elevator is based on stan-dard, modular elevators, which consist of a bottom, head and pipe section. The sections are connected with bolted flanges for easy mounting. The structure of the elevator is self-supporting up to 30 m but may re-quire lateral support.

STANDARD FEATURESThe elevator comes with one service hatch, a speed guard and belt alignment sensor with an oil resistan-ce belt. Pipe sections are available in lengths ranging from 0,3 – 2,0. There are options for steel or non-me-tallic buckets.

SHAFT-MOUNTED GEARED MOTORSThe bucket elevator is available with shaft-mounted bevel or helical geared motors requiring a minimum of main-tenance. The gear motors can be moun-ted either on the left or on the right, again securing a high degree of flexi-bility.
