Victoria has been, and continues, to be a key member in my photography classes, demonstrating qualities that other students look up to. She is excited about learning and not afraid to take risks within her work. Her work ethic is inspiring to other students. I'm excited to see where an amazing student like Victoria goes within her studies throughout high school.

Business Ty has been working very hard in Computer Applications 2 and just recently got certified as a Microsoft Office Specialist in Word. He always has a great attitude in class and Mr. Egnarski is very glad that he stuck with Computer Applications for a second semester. Keep up the great work Ty!

Alex entered the West music department full-steam ahead as a freshman this year! She is active in multiple music ensembles, from Orchestra to Choir, Treble at West, and Marching Band. Alex serves as the freshman rep for the Orchestra Board, and she is always willing to help whenever the need arises. She is a strong, dedicated musician in every aspect of her musical background. One standout moment was when Alex shared her gift of singing at the Orchestra's Valentine's Dance, when she belted out "At Last" with the Orchestra and Mr. Jonas accompanying.

Phy Ed Gavin is a kind soul. He is hard working, has a positive attitude and encourages his teammates. He engages in thoughtful conversations and includes everyone. He is always willing to lend a hand and help out with just about anything. He is a great role model to his classmates!!

Aidan has continued to perform at an advanced level in U.S. History 11 throughout the school year. He is quiet-natured but he always has a thoughtful answer and response when I pose a question to him. Aidan works hard every day and does his best to engage in everything we do. Great Job Aidan!

I can always depend on Joey to finish a task whether it be in autos or woodworking. He comes to class ready to participate and help others. From the interactions that I have seen he has always been polite to other students and teachers.

Isabelle has done a fantastic job of researching and learning how to create her own podcast, what kind of equipment is needed to operate a podcast, and has begun practicing and scheduling her first podcasts. She exemplifies what TREK is all about: taking risks in learning something new and creating awesome artifacts that demonstrate that learning.

Caleb is such a hard worker in every one of his classes! He has set the goal of attending a four year college while entering the military and is pushing himself to take AP classes next year to be prepared. He loves to help out whenever needed and has a positive attitude!

Alana CrisostomoAcademic Decathlon
As a first-year member of the team, Alana has tackled all the work of being a decathlete with both poise and purpose. She's a great addition to the team and helps build its amazing dynamic. Likewise, she was phenomenal at the team's recent Regional competition. She earned a ribbon in six of the ten events, a Top Score award, and was the highest score on the team.

Megan has been a committed member of Circle of Friends since her freshman year. She has encouraged new members to join, brought along guests from other schools and has greatly contributed to the growth of the club. Zach is in his final year in the ski club and he has been such a positive energy to have with us on Friday nights. Zach’s quiet leadership and genuine interest in building relationships has set a great example and paved a great path for future students to follow. We will miss him at the hill!
