LTH arrives at the Mumbai International Airport Announces an ambitious 600-room hotel project to be functional by April 2018

We at Lemon Tree are on a roar. The Development team has just announced the acquisition of a 2.3 acre

plot near the all-important Mumbai International Airport. To be branded as a Lemon Tree Premier, this mega project will encompass 600 stylish rooms along with an enormous, state-of-the-art, 40,000 sq.ft. convention center making it a perfect destination for large conferences and events. What’s more, the project will also have 1.3 lac sq.ft. of smart commercial office spaces, leased to a select few companies for use. Finer plans are being chalked out. The hotel will be prominently located in the stellar company of J.W. Marriott, The ITC Grand Maratha and The Leela, amongst others. While this hotel cum convention center will rise to life by April 2018, there is yet another Lemon Tree slated to open its doors to guests, by the middle of next year at a sought-after location in Andheri.

With this announcement, another euphoric chapter gets added to the Lemon Tree Story. We congratulate and thank everyone who has ceaselessly contributed in realizing this dream. So, Watch out Amchi Mumbai… here we arrive!!

The scrumptious food and professional service at Citrus Café saw LTPDL1 bag the ‘Golden Spoon’ award by Groupon. Ronit Roy experienced our scrumptious pan-Asian cuisine at RON, LTABR in February. The Indian Film and TV actor claim to fame was with the portrayal of Rishabh Bajaj in a TV series. His latest TV Series ‘Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyar’ is garnering high TRP’s. Interestingly, Ronit himself has been a Hospitality student and has worked with a hotel in Mumbai.

Ranvir Shorey a former VJ had a refreshing stay at LTPDL1. He made his debut in Indian cinema with Ek Chhoti si Love Story (2002) and has starred in a number of high-profile films such as Jism (2003) and Lakshya (2004). It was not until 2006 that he got noticed in the comedy Khosla Ka Ghosla.

From RFHDL Files Meeta Gaur made a guest’s special day even more joyous when she helped the lady guest pick a perfect gift for her husband on the eve of their anniversary. Meeta escorted the guest to a mall in the city and fruitfully finished the quest.

From LTPDL1 Files Sukhbir Kumar, upon observing a troubled guest couple in the hotel lobby, helped them prepone their flight to Germany as the guest’s father had passed away back home. He took upon himself to make numerous calls to the guest’s travel agent and ensured that guests were booked on the earliest available flight. The guests were touched by this gesture and thanked him.

From LTPGN1 Files Team LTPGN1 delighted a guest couple with their personalized services. The team consisting of Nisha Negi, Vikramjit Singh Ahluwalia and Yashwant Jha made sure the pair had a refreshing stay with us, where Chef Vikramjit taught the lady how to make a perfect dosa on her request, Nisha Negi helped her to make a shopping itinerary and Yashwant decorated the couple’s room in Valentines’ Day theme on 14th Feb.

From RFHDL Files Rajesh Kumar displayed why he is the perfect combination of passion, dedication and hardwork by going above and beyond his call of duty. While working on the terrace at a vital concern, he hurt his head and started bleeding profusely. Seeing the importance of the job at hand, he tied a cloth to his wound to stop the flow of blood and continued till he saw the task to its end.

Team RON, LTPHY1 climbed the No. 1 spot on TripAdvisor this month. They celebrated their success by cutting a congratulatory cake amidst cheer and pride.

LTHCN celebrated their 6th anniversary in February. An evening of fun and frolic was planned by cutting a ceremonial cake followed by some brilliant performances by the hotel staff and scrumptious gala dinner.

RFHHY conducted a session aiming at cost-optimization measures for all its employees. The event was intended at improving the efficiency of all the departments and effective management of resources.

Gulshan Kumar, Projects team, Corporate Office had been assigned a tough job of getting the Property Tax corrected for LTHCN. It was only with his determined effort that both the Property & Water Tax of the hotel was aptly amended by the government authorities, reducing the financial outflow of LTHCN by Rs. 57 Lacs per year, and resulting in huge savings for the company. For his persistent coordination and for achieving this rare feat, the company has also suitably rewarded him.
