It was like the sweet hum of a beautiful, sacred song ascending to the throne. Last week at prayer meeting, our Pastor had everyone break up into groups to pray specifically for Phil’s cancer. It was an unexpected gift. As we prayed in our pew, we listened to the sound of hundreds of voices lifting up to Heaven on our behalf – all at the same time – & we were moved to tears. We couldn’t help but think, “If these prayers move us this much, how much more must they move the heart of our Heavenly Father?” Then, to think that the same thing was happening in hundreds of churches across our nation, across our continent & around the world – well, how could we NOT feel loved? How could we NOT be encouraged? How could we NOT be comforted? Thank you – all of you – for your faithful prayers! God hears, and they DO make a difference! Do you want to know what else encourages us? Volunteers!!!!! And we need MORE!! Our CLAIM Projects are moving forward led, once again, by David & Lori Smith. Please prayerfully consider using YOUR tools in one or more of the following upcoming CLAIM Projects; particularly in the CLAIM Trinidad project. The CLAIM Trinidad Project excites us because it is for the construction of a new church building for Hope Bible Baptist Church. This church has never had its own church building. They have always had to meet in a rented facility & have faced many issues with it being dirty, or suddenly unavailable. Can you imagine? Having their own church building will allow them a great opportunity to grow, make their presence known in the community, disciple their own people & reach more people for Christ!
