We are actively trying to get Sara Evans, Missouri native, to come to Qatar and perform for us. We
created a video invitation and posted it on YouTube along with our Facebook page. You can help us
get her here by using the following link to our Facebook and click on the YouTube video.

Another month has come
and gone. Just yesterday
we were welcoming in
the New Year and now
we are checking another
month off of the calen-
dar. This has been an
exciting month with nu-
merous promotions and
a reenlistment. Congrats
to all! We are nearing
the halfway portion of
the deployment. It can
be a tough time for the
Soldiers and families
alike. The mid-tour blues
can be tough to over-
come, but just as I am
writing about January
ending we know that in
no time February will be
gone too. The time is
flying. Things in Qatar
have definitely settled
COMMANDER’S CORNER
Since our last newsletter we have
had a few changes here with your
Soldiers. We have promoted a
few more to Specialist and Pri-
vate First Class. We continue to
perform our duties better and bet-
ter each and every day. Our com-
pany is still consistently receiving
praise for the hard work that our
Soldiers are putting in each day.
We have added another addition
to our military family that you
will see at the end of the newslet-
ter. A lot of Soldiers have volun-
teered their time to assist with
local schools in coaching soccer
and hockey. Many soldiers are
taking classes for civilian educa-
tion. Everyday your Soldiers are
setting the tone for not only the
military folks from all the
branches here on CAS, but as well
as the civilians. I am very proud
of the efforts as well as the results
that they are achieving in our mis-
sion as well as that of their per-
sonal gains. I hope that your time
is going by quickly and am ex-
cited to tell you about the exam-
ples and achievements that your
Soldiers achieve next month.

ond, we have started working on the
annual golf tournament.
Our meeting for February will be on
Saturday February 25th at 10 am at the
armory.
Hope things are going well for
the 2175th.
Thanks,
Mama Z

As time were speed we
know that it won’t be
long until we are back
in the arms of our loved
ones.
