If for some reason you did not receive your statement and you would like one, please contact the parish office. Of course, we only have records of giving for those who are properly registered and give via some means that can be traced. This is one of the benefits of being registered in the parish. Although all who live in the parish boundaries are considered parishioners, registration is necessary to track giving. Registration also helps us when you might need to request a sponsor letter for Baptism or Confirmation. We encourage all who live within the parish boundaries to register with the parish. Today is Scout Sunday. I would like to congratulate the boys from our Cub Scout Pack who will be awarded their religious medals at the 12:30 Mass today. I also want to offer a word of thanks to Father Jim for his work with the boys in seeing that they met the requirements for these awards. We are very proud of these boys and hope to see them continue in scouting and achieve the rank of Eagle Scout one day. Finally, a word of thanks to all our faithful adorers. Our adoration chapel has been open non-stop since the end of August -- nearly six months now. This is only possible thanks to the dedication of a number of individuals who have committed to spending at least an hour with our Eucharistic Lord each week. I am truly edified by the dedication of the individuals who are regularly there in the chapel. Though we are basically covered, there are still a few holes in the schedule. If you can commit to a particu- lar hour each week, visit the parish website and see how you might be able to help us continue to keep the chapel open 24/7. There are available times morning, noon, and night when you can assist. Sincerely in Christ,

Men's Bible Study

World-wide Disasters. Fearsome war-riors on horseback. A horrific dragon. No, it's not the latest fantasy film from Hollywood. These are just some of the images that will be discussed in the Men's Bible Study group this spring, as we explore one of the most intri-guing and misunderstood books of the Bible, the Book of Revelation. Ses-sions started on Tuesday, January 17th at 7pm in the Zelli Martin Room in the Admin. Building. All men of the parish are welcome to participate. For more information, please contact Larry at [email protected], or at 703.729.3714. Unbound Series

Began on Thursday, February 2 through March 23, 6:30-7:45pm. If you struggle with relationships, fami-ly, work, or need to be free from the past, Unbound can give you power in Christ to achieve freedom and move forward. It is an opportunity to enter Easter restored, filled with joy and God's unconditional love. Contact: Lauren Kelley at [email protected] for more information and to sign up. If you want further insight, go to Heartofthefather.com. Men of St. Theresa: THAT MAN IS YOU!

Yes you, Mister "I'm too busy to learn about my Faith what with the kids and all". Come join us for the next semester of the popular That Man Is You program at St. Theresa. TMIY is a Men's Faith and Leadership course that will make you a better Catholic husband and father. New members are welcome; if you missed our Fall program you can still start with us now. The next session started Sat 4 Feb at the school cafeteria. Breakfast burritos will be served at 0630. The session will end at 0800. Please con-tact Jay Casale at [email protected] for more info.

Testimonial: As a relative newcomer to the parish, I joined That Man Is You as a way of meeting other men who like me want to grow in holiness and the ways of Godly manliness. The program has exceeded all my expectations. Not only have I met several great guys who are now friends, the program itself offers a

systematic, gradual way of deepening a practical application of Catholic teaching to the ordinary challenges of daily life and, through the small groups, a band of brothers engaged in growing in the same ideals. It's true it's a challenge to get up so early on a Saturday morning; I find that it sets the tone for the entire weekend and for the following week. If you've been thinking of joining us, think no more! We welcome you, and so does the Lord. David Carradini Wine and Theology

Welcome all adults! Our next event is Fri. Feb. 10th 7-10:30pm at Jeff and Cathy Clark's home. This is a casual gathering to catch up, meet new peo-ple, and enjoy each other's company. Around 8ish Anthony Renzette will lead us in a discussion about the Trin-ity. Children are welcome, but we also have babysitting references. Feel free to invite your friends - the more the merrier! Contact Tricia Suarez at [email protected] for the evite or if you have questions. Future Dates: March 10th and April 7th. Women’s Bible Study, Walking with Purpose

Want to grow deeper in faith, learn how scripture applies to your everyday life, and meet some great women in the parish? Come join the women of WWP! We have many small group options and courses to choose from. Refer to the Parish website for more details under Activities/Women’s Bible Study – Walking with Purpose. Refer questions to [email protected]. Gospel of Matthew

We meet the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month from 7–8:30pm. If inter-ested, contact Linda DiMuzio, Course Coordinator, at [email protected]. Cost of course materials is $30. Saint Theresa Women’s Discipleship Group
