The Strathmore Golf Club StrategicPlanning Committee held a meeting onJan. 26 to discuss the possibility of a fu-ture multi-use recreational facility. Themeeting took place at Stix Restaurantand Lounge and saw a variety of differentgroups around Strathmore meet to lookat different options.

(It was) a preliminary kind of meetingfor us to see who the interested partiesare and for maybe future development andexpansion of our golf course, said CraigStone, chairperson for the committee. The group also looked at the overall

    pictures of recreational facilities within

Strathmore. He said there is a huge amount interestfrom the community in creating a multi-use facility. The golf course has landavailable for such a facility and is easilyaccessible. Currently the golf course isused approximately seven months of theyear and Stone and other members of thecommittee would like to change that.

We started out looking at, what are theneeds of the community that we may beable to add to our golf course to bringit into a 12 month a year facility, saidStone.

What are the needs and decienciesthat are in our community and county andhow can we help our community grow.

Stone said the meeting was very posi-

tive and at the end of it, they sent all ofthe people back to their respective groupsto discuss what took place at the meeting. He said they hope when they contact thevarious groups in 10 days, they will havea better feel for what the needs are. Stonesaid they will take the information gath-ered and put it in writing to begin accu-mulating things to see where they stand.

He said it would likely be a year beforethey really get a feel for where they areand what is really needed. He said theenthusiasm shown by some of the peopleat the meeting, such as former councillorBrad Walls, is what they may need to seethe project to fruition.

Golden Hills School Division,GHSD, was honoured at the annual

gala of the Calgary and Area Educa-tional Partnerships, CEPF, on Jan. 27. The division received two MayorsExcellence Awards for the categoriesSmall Business Program and LiteracySupport and Enhancement.

It was good, it was quite a crowd, said Chair Dave Price.

Obviously the speakers that wereable to talk early on about their ownexperiences, about reaching out to doextra things with students had somepretty dramatic stories to tell, andthat was kind of neat to hear. The award for Small Business Pro-

grams celebrated the partnership be-tween several local stylists and salonowners who work with Strathmore

High School, SHS, teacher Cheryl Da-vidson to offer cosmetology to ruralschools.

Cosmetology is a popular Careerand Technology Studies (CTS) coursethat provides students with an oppor-tunity to explore the trade, improvelife skills, and build self esteem, saidDavidson, in a press release.

The award for the business part-nerships was recognizing some of

what the Deputy Superintendant EdHolt had done with communities insetting up the ability for local cosme-

tologists to work with schools, andprovide a different kind of program-ming option for students than what

would otherwise be the case, saidPrice.

The literacy award recognized andhonoured the partnership betweenSequoia School, Digital Press, Black-foot Crossing and Siksika Nation el-ders. This partnership saw, CollectedStories: The Three Buffalo Snuff andHow The Kiayo Got A Short Tail, byCatlyn Storm, Bella Saddleback and

John Healy with illustrations by Kris-ten Daniels, published.

Partnerships are critical to thehealth and well being of all publicschools, said Sequoia Principal De-nise Peterson in a press release.

The CEPF support and recognitionfor such effort is greatly appreciated. Our students and school communityare immensely grateful to our part-

ners for helping us bring this projectto fruition. The awards dinner took place at

the Fairmont Palliser Hotel, with 15different towns and municipalities inattendance, and included Mayor Na-heed Nenshi of Calgary.

CEPF was founded in 1991 and isa non-prot organization, which pro-

vides support for children and teach-ers in Calgary. The CEPF partner-ship includes six jurisdictions, nearly180,000 students and more than 300

    businesses and organizations.

The committee has not begun look-ing at what the possible costs may be.

At this stage we have absolutelyno idea, our answer was between $1and $1 Billion because we just dontknow how big this could get and wedont know all whats entailed here,

said Stone. He said they focused more onwho are the interested groups, howdo they t into the community, doestheir property t everything into onespot and are they going to be able toaccommodate the size of this. He saidif it makes sense to the communityand the county, they will consider the

possibility of a partnership with anoutside society, such as the Agricul-tural Society. He said the possibility isthere, but would have to go through alot of other plans to make it happen.Stone said they would not limit them-selves by closing a door that hasntreally been opened yet. He said theAg. Society was in attendance at themeeting and at this point they will besharing information.

We are only limited by our imagi-nation, said Stone.A future meeting date has not been

set as of yet, but Stone predicts thenext meeting to discuss things furtherwill take place in approximately sixweeks.

    Winter walkShannon LeCLair

    Times Reporter

Its almost that time of year where once again RobertBreitwieser and HEAL, Healthy Eating, Active Living, areasking people to participate in the third annual Winter

Walk Day. In previous years, people gathered at the BankAthletic Club. They then walked around Kinsmen Park, down around the library and back to the Athletic Club forhealthy snacks.

This year were going to do it a little different. We de-cided just to plug into www.shapeab.com, and encouragepeople to walk where ever they are, said Breitwieser.

We just want to encourage people to get out and walk, enjoy the fresh air in their own community and meet theirneighbours and have a good time.

He said people could go to the Civic Centre, where thereis indoor walking available, or maybe in their community,

downtown or at a park. He said HEAL would like to seepeople register on the shapeab link, so they can have anidea afterwards how many people participated. Breitwi-eser said many of the schools have taken part in their owntype of winter walk day for a number of years.

HEAL is trying to get the banks to challenge each other.Last year, CIBC, the Chinook Credit Union and Royal Bankparticipated and challenged one another and Breitwieser

would like to see that again this year. The best way to keeptally on how much walking is done is with a pedometer,

which is a great tool.If people want to buy pedometers, they are now avail-

able again at the Bank Athletic Club at a reasonable cost, said Breitwieser. Winter Walk Day is Feb. 9, and everyone can partici-

pate by either signing up at www.shapeab.com or by justgetting outside and going for a minimum of a 15 minutestroll.

Residents in the Hillview areahad been warned there wouldbe snow removal in their areaon Jan. 27. There was a signstating it would take place from8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., with allvehicles left on the street beingticketed and/or towed. It cameas a surprise to Anne Leeperand her family when her hus-band was issued a ticket at 7:07a.m. for being parked on thestreet. This was not only oneissue Leeper had that morning.

After that, when we weregetting our kids ready forschool, the loader and grader

were starting to come downthe streets, clearing the ice. Theres kids all over trying toget to their bus stops and thisequipment is right there, saidLeeper.

She said around the cornerfrom her house there are busstops, and there are kids cross-ing from all sides of the inter-section to get to the bus stop. She said the loader did a u-turnat the intersection to go backdown the other direction downthe street.

I thought, thats kind ofdangerous with all the kids

around, said LeeperShe said then the grader hadthe edge of its blade right upagainst the sidewalk trying toget all the snow. Leeper saidshe understands why they aredoing it, and that it is importantand she likes the snow remov-al. She doesnt feel they shouldbe doing it as kids are walkingdown the street because it isdangerous.

My husband was watchingthe kids at the bus stop, and thefellow with the loader by thistime is coming down the street

towards the kids, said Leeper. The bus stop on the same

side...as he gets closer, he stopsthe loader, yells at the kids toget out of the way and thencontinues on his way.

She said when loaders arepushing a heavy load, becausethey articulate in the middle, itkind of swings back and forth.Hillview only has two accessesand Leeper said its busy untilabout 8:30 a.m. Then the areadies down, since most peopleare at work and the kids arein school. She said they couldcome in after and do their clean-ing then and no one would bein the way.

Instead they are in there is-

suing tickets to people whose vehicles are parked on thestreets at seven in the morn-ing and then are running heavyequipment as our kids are try-ing to cross the street, saidLeeper.

Really, this is ridiculous. Waituntil our kids get school safely, then come with the equipmentand clean the streets. At that point the last snow-

fall had been Jan. 8 and theywere cleaning on the 27. Leepersaid she doesnt see why theycouldnt have waited a couplemore hours.

I really think the town needsto look at waiting until the chil-dren are in school before theydo major street cleaning likethat, because in my opinion itsa wreck about to happen, saidLeeper.

She said she had talked tosome neighbours in the area, and they were upset aboutsending their kids out with allthe equipment around.

I understand that the load-er and the grader need to getahead of the snow blower, thatmakes perfect sense but at what

cost do we have to do that?said Leeper.

She knows they are try-ing to get the cost down, butshe said she and her husbandshouldnt be hassled at 7 a.m.,and her children shouldnt beput at risk. She said when shetalked to the Mayor, he agreedit should be looked into.

I cant comment on the en-forcement aspect of the sig-nage and all that kind of stuffbecause that is really up to ourBylaw and Peace Ofcers, said Jesse Parker, Director of Engi-neering and Operations for theTown.

Parker said the guys runningthe equipment start when they

do because it is the earliest theycan. They are also bound by thenoise bylaw and cant take theequipment into areas in townearlier than 7 a.m.

Were trying to do it asquickly as we can, which un-fortunately put us in a si tuationwhere there were children wait-ing at a bus stop while there was equipment in the area, said Parker.

Previously we went out withthe grader and loader earlier,so we had been going out toresidential areas prior to 7 a.m.and get in and get out before

that conict with students andchildren.Parker admits being restrict-

ed to wait until 7 a.m. has madethings worse when it comes toclearing the roads.

Had we waited until thenwe wouldnt have gotten nearas much done, so the challengefor us is that were trying toclean up things, said Parker.

Since the conversation withLeeper and other town admin-istrators, Parker has said theyare already looking at ways tomake things safer.

anyoneFAQs (part 2)regarding RSPsWhat happens to my RSPwhen its time to retire?

By law, your RSPs must be converted toa form of retirement income by the end of

the calendar year in which you turn 71. Themost popular choice for Canadians is toconvert their RSPs to a Retirement IncomeFund (RIF). With a RIF, your investments cancontinue to grow on a tax-deferred basiswhile you withdraw the income you need.

What happens to my RSPwhen I die?

The value of your RSP is paid to thebeneciary you have designated. If youhave not designated a beneciary, it is paidto your estate. In certain cases, includingif your beneciary is your surviving spouseor common-law partner, your RSP may betransferred to them on a tax-deferred basis. You should consult your District TaxationOfce or legal and tax advisors for morespecic information.

At what age should I begincontributing to my RSP?

Start your RSP as soon as possible.Contribute as much as you can afford,as soon as you can. Even modest regularcontributions can build over the years intoa signicant retirement nest egg. CanadaRevenue Agency makes it easy to knowhow much you can contribute to your RSPseach year. For your current years limit, simply refer to your Notice of Assessment. This Notice sets out the maximum amountyou may contribute in the current year,

including any unused contribution roomcarried forward from previous years. Ifyou invest $500 a year for 40 years startingtoday, you can accumulate more than twiceas much as the person who waits 20 years, and then invests $1,000 a year for 20 years. The total amount invested is the same, butlook at the difference in results.

Total RSP balance after 40 years of $500annual contributions equals $77,381.Total RSP balance after 20 years of $1,000annual contributions equals $36,786.

This example is based on a constant6% rate of return in order to illustrate theadvantages of tax-deferred savings and

compounded returns. Because actualinterest rates uctuate, the amounts showndo not necessarily represent the value youwould actually accumulate in an RSP.

What is the deadline for anRSP contribution?

You have until March 1 (or February 29 ina leap year) to contribute to your RSP. Oncethis date has passed, RSP contributions areonly deductible against your taxable incomefor the next (or any subsequent) year.

    Heart Attack- know the symptoms

February is Heart Month (The Heart & Stroke Foundation)

What Is A Heart Attack? The medical term for heart attack is myocardial infarction,

which means death of heart muscle, usually due to a suddenreduction in blood supply to part of the heart. Most often, heartattacks occur in people w ith atherosclerosis (often loosely referred

to as heart disease), a condition, which causes fatty build-up andnarrowing of the blood vessels. A diseased blood vessel can easily

become blocked and deprive a segment of the heart of the oxygen

    and nutrients it constantly requires.

What Causes A Heart Attack?Almost all heart attacks occur in people with atherosclerosis.

Over 90% of heart attacks occur when a fatty deposit in one of the

hearts vessels causes a blood clot to form, and the clot blocksblood ow in the vessel. The major risk factors for atherosclerosis

and heart attacks are smoking, high cholesterol, high bloodpressure, diabetes, and a family history of heart disease, heart

    attacks, or stroke.

What Are The Signs And Symptoms Of A Heart Attack?Two-thirds of people experience chest pain, shortness of breath,

or fatigue in the weeks leading up to the heart attack. Typically,a person having a heart attack experiences severe crushing

chest pain radiating to the neck, jaw, arms and/or back. Anxiety, sweating, and nausea or vomiting usually accompanies the pain. Some people have only mild discomfort, however, and women often

dont t the usual picture. In addition, the skin may be pale, cool,

and clammy. Fingertips and lips may be cold and bluish in color.

What To Do?If you think you or someone around you is having a heart attack,

    call 911 immediately!

How Can I Prevent A Heart Attack?Other than your family history and juvenile diabetes, you are

in control of your risk for heart disease. Stop smoking. Cut down

on fatty foods and eat more fruits, vegetables, and foods high inber. Be physically active: every bit helps. See your family doctor

regularly to keep tabs on your blood pressure and cholesterol. Tryto keep stress under control; take time and just relax.

    To the Editor

Councillor Earl Best went to administration to en-quire about the potential costs involved pertaining tothe conference in Edmonton that council annually at-tends and he was reassured that his method of travel

was of a similar cost. Let me reassure you that Coun-cillor Best is an honourable man and did the correct

thing in seeking guidance in this matter, as all of coun-cil does utilizing the resources of administration.

If anyone is at fault here it is the member of admin-istration that volunteered the improper advice. Admin-istration is all too eager to punish Councillor Best bydeducting from his wages and not admit to their partin this avoidable oversight. The $89.42 should be removed from the member

of administration that Councillor Best put his trust intheir knowledge. Who is the member of administra-tion in question? Who are the Members of the ChangeFor Strathmore Party currently sitting on Council (if

you went to their meeting you are a member?)Is this all a case of the Change For Strathmore Par-

ty raising its ugly head again or is it that administra-

tion is sticking in its dirty little nger and stirring thepot?

Could this all be an attempt to silence a Councillor? To have him be less vocal and keep him in line? Myadvice to Councillor Best is to continue to focus onthe tasks at hand and put this nonsense behind you.

    Times Reporter

New project details regarding the Al-taLink Transmission line have come out

which affect the Langdon area. Current-ly just south west of Langdon there isan electrical substation. AltaLink plansto build a convertor station where the

existing substation is, if the Alberta Utili-ties Commission, AUC, accepts the pre-ferred route.

At the end of a DC (direct current)line, you do need a station to convertthe power back and forth between AC(alternating current) and DC, said LeighClarke, Senior Vice President, ExternalEngagement for AltaLink. There will be more equipment and

parts at the existing substation, and partof the substation will have to move to ac-commodate the converter station. Clarkesaid the convertor station is still a typeof substation. He said even if it were ACthey would still need a bigger substationat either end of the line.

The advantage of the DC is the line

itself is smaller, the towers are smallerand down the road its scalable, saidClarke.

Later on, as needed, equipment canbe added at the convertor stations, in-creasing the amount of electricity beingmoved without going back and buildingmore lines. Parts of the existing substa-tion would move to the quarter sectionsouth of the existing station, if the pre-ferred route were approved. Clarke saidit would have to be moved because they

would have to recongure a number oflines. He said there are a number of ex-isting lines there currently.

It will mean trying to reduce thefootprint in the area as much as pos-sible and that may mean moving some

of the lines... so that were as efcient aswe can be in our use of the land, saidClarke.

He said they are planning to have aninformation session about the substationfor the community, though they havenot determined the date at this time.

Were dedicated with trying, as withany of these facilities, to try to mitigatethose effects as much as possible. Werehopeful the effects will be minimal to

begin with, said Clarke. He said if peo-

ple do have con-cerns about theconverter sta-tion and/or theroute, they willhave a chanceto address thoseconcerns at the

AUC applica-tion meeting. He does notfeel it will affectthe community.Clarke stated as

far as he knowsLangdon is notplanning to ex-pand to thatarea of land, andhe doesnt fore-see it being apoint of discon-tentment sincethey have grown

with a substation nearby. Were fairly far removed from the

town, said Clarke. The town has grown up around in

the area of what was the Langdon sub-station. It is the logical electrical drop-off point for this electricity to supply, obviously Calgary, and communities like

Strathmore, Langdon and all of southernAlberta, said Clarke.

Clarke said there would likely beconcerns about noise and lightning is-sues and they will address those issuesas they have previously. The station isnoisy, but only if a person is close to it.

The telecommunications tower will havea light on it, which is angled upwardsand is mainly meant to prevent airplanesfrom hitting it. He said theyll probablyreplace the existing telecommunications

    tower with anew one, which

will be approxi-mately 250 feettall. The con-

verter stationitself will looklike a warehousetype of buildingand can measureup to 500 me-tres by 500 me-tres, though that

would be thelargest and is not

what AltaLink isproposing forLangdon. If theoptional routeis approved, in-stead of the pre-ferred route, theexisting substa-tion would re-main where it is.

In that case it would move away fromthe existing substation, but the conver-tor station would still be in the gener-al vicinity. Clarke said they are still inconsultations with landowners. He stillanticipates AltaLink will le their appli-cation to the AUC in the rst quarter of2011.

what AltaLink is proposing, but is similar to what will be

built i the preerred route is approved.

On Jan. 27 a press release was sentout from Golden Hills School Division,GHSD, stating there was a potentialsalary freeze for teachers on the hori-

zon. Representatives from the Govern-ment of Alberta, the Alberta SchoolBoards Association, ASBA, and the Al- berta Teachers Association, ATA, wereinvolved in closed-door discussionsabout building workforce stability ineducation and enabling continued col-laboration on the changes to the kin-dergarten to Grade 12 education sys-tem.

On Friday, (Jan. 28), the three par-ties that were in the tripartite discus-sions agreed that as no nal agreementhad been reached between them, thatthey would step away from that, said

Dave Price, chair for the GHSD.There are actually not any ongoing

negotiations happening at this point intime.

He said they were looking at differ-ent ideas to attempt to meet some ofthe goals of the province in dealing

with their decit overall. One of theideas included was the potential salaryfreeze. Another idea was to reopen thecurrent contract and replace it with anew agreement. There had been a pro-posal to reduce the number of instruc-tional hours for students. Reducing thehours was a potential adjustment tohelp make it feasible, but has also beendropped. Currently, regulations require950 hours for Grades 1 to 9 and 1,000hours for Grades 10 to 12. GHSD ex-ceeds those hours with Grades 1 to 6receiving 960 hours, and Grades 7 to12 receiving 1,010.

Wildrose nomination processto begin soonShannon LeCLair

    Times Reporter

Recently the Wildrose Alliance announced theyare ready to begin the nomination process for theStrathmore-Brooks Constituency. Arno Doerkson is

currently the MLA for this constituency and up tonow there has not been a Wildrose representativefor this constituency.

So basically what were doing is we are goingto run a nomination process to get candidates, orpotential candidates, so we have a representationhere in this constituency, said Bryan Thiessen, Vice-President of the Constituency Association. As of Feb. 18, what can happen is if a person has

been a member of the Wildrose Alliance for a cer-tain period of time prior to the nomination process, they can ll out an application. Each nominee mustget approximately 75 signatures from other mem-bers saying they want that particular candidate torun for the area. Thiessen said the goal is to havesomeone run for the party in every constituency. Hesaid he believes right now approximately half of theconstituencies have a Wildrose representative.

Right now if there was an election called tomor-row, we would have no one to run against Arno

(Doerkson), said Thiessen.News of Premier Ed Stelmach stepping down soon

was not the motivating factor for the Wildrose Party. The party will be open to receive nominations for

21 days. If there is more than one nominee, therewill be a mini election in the area for anyone who

is a part of the Wildrose to vote for who they want. The Wildrose Alliance Party is conservative, as areStelmach and his representatives, but Thiessen saidthe Wildrose is further right on the political spec-trum.

We are trying to sit there and say the conserva-tives are not on the right side any more, they havemoved too much. Theyre basically centre and wedbe right of centre, said Thiessen.

The Wildrose Alliance considers themselves s-cally conservative. They believe in a balanced bud-get, not running off a decit, said Thiessen. He saidthey also believe strongly in individual rights, withproperty rights being one of those beliefs. The Wil-drose Alliance Party has been running neck andneck with the Stelmach Conservatives in popularityand is ahead in rural areas, said a press release fromthe Wildrose Alliance. If February 18 is chosen for

the opening notice, the nal date for nomination ap-plications will be March 11.

According to UFA Bisons head coach ParryShockey, hes seen his fair share of bad breaks

go against his hockey club.Case in point; this past weekend, the local tri-ple-A midget team red over 50 shots versus theFort Saskatchewn Boston Pizza Rangers, but onlymanaged a 5-5 draw on Jan. 29.

It was the only blemish on an otherwise solidweekend for the Bisons, who defeated the LeducOil Kings 5-3 the following day, earning three outof a possible four points.

We really havent had a ton of luck with our year, said the coach. I believe thats becausewere banking it for when we need it. Were com-mitted to playing a certain way and I think whenthe guys play that way, when we get in tightgames, then were going to get the bounces weneed, the breaks we need.

The game is fair for every time we missed abreak, you get to bank that one.

The line of Torrin White, Sam Johnson and LukePhilp combined for 12 points in the tie versusthe Rangers. White and Johnson each recordedtwo goals and two assists, while Philp recordeda goal and three helpers. Carson McCormick andSamuel McKechnie each registered an assist.

I thought we outplayed them and I thought wedeserved a better fate than that, said Shockey.Their goaltender was hot I like our hockeyteam. Were exciting to watch and we get someexcellent scoring opportunities.

On Sunday night, Connor Chartier scored onceand added an assist for the Herd, who got solotallies from Sam Johnson, Sean Davies, Tyson

Valette and Samuel McKechnie. Luke Philp andKirby Ruzesky each added a pair of helpers inthe win.

Our d-men were moving the puck really welland our forwards were generating a lot of speedthrough the neutral zone and it created a lotof opportunities for us to put the puck in thenet, said Johnson. You cant take any team for

granted. We just have to play our game and stickto the plan. According to Shockey, the Bisons were good

for most of the game.I thought we were good we played a solid

game for probably 55 minutes, said Shockey. All of the sudden, we sat back and tried to pro-tect (the lead) and thats not our game. We keeppressing and pushing and pushing.

I dont think youve ever seen us trap guysthat want to protect leads basically trap and wenever trap.

We got a little bit lazy on our forecheck andallowed them to create some opportunities, butas a whole, I thought it was a good game.

We got really good efforts out of our second-ary scoring. The Bisons improved to 17-8-5 on the season,

including a 4-1-1 mark in January, which wasenough to clinch a playoff berth. The team is just four points out of second place

and a rst-round playoff bye.Ultimately, would it be nice to get the bye?

Well, it would be because we have those guys(Luke Philp and Torrin White) that wont be here(because of the Canada Winter Games), saidShockey. At the end of the day, I would muchrather not have a bye if you already have aseries under your belt, that gives you an advan-tage.The Bisons will now close out the regular sea-

son with four consecutive road games. After play-ing the Calgary Buffaloes Feb. 3 (result not avail-able as of press time), the team is slated to playin Grande Prairie and Leduc Feb. 5-6.

The Strathmore Mixed Curling Bonspiel took place at the Strathmore

Curling Club from Jan. 25 to 30. It was great, it was a really goodevent. Everybody sure had fun, said Addy Ashlee, coordinator of the

event. There were 28 teams who came to take part in the event and

each team was guaranteed at least three games.

The Wheatland Braves control theirown playo destiny ater going 3-0-1against the team that is between themand the fnal playo spot. The local AA peewee team has taken

seven o a possible eight points overthe Foothills Bisons, the team theytrail by one point, with two games inhand.

Ater the start we had, I was won-dering i wed have a sni at the play-os, said Braves head coach Keith Kl-emmensen. I think the coaching staidentifed early that playos would bea major challenge. Its turning out to

be exactly that.We have a younger, smaller team,

but theyre kind o manning up. Imthinking i they keep their attitudeand their eort, I think well makeplayos. I really do.

Despite having a tough time versus

some o the upper echelon teams, theBraves have given a consistent, solideort every night.

However, by playing the Bisonstough, they have given themselves a

chance to make the post-season.Once playos start, anything can

    happen.Absolutely there is that mentality,

said Klemmensen o playo unpredict-ability. I think that you always wantto get better as you (head toward) theplayos. You dont want to be quite

peaked at the end (o the regular sea-son). You want to have it so you cankeep building through the playos.

However, the Braves need to pro-duce the wins to get into the post-sea-son dance. According to Klemmensen, the Braves are already in playomode.

Almost every game is a must, saidthe coach. You cant get looking atthe schedule and saying well, thisshould be a game we win and thisshould be a game we win.

The other thing that has helpedus out is weve had some good, closegames (where) we didnt get the

win - against some o the top teams in

the league that has really boosted themoral and the confdence. The kids know that theyre getting

better. Its not a bunch o BS Im tell-ing them. They know it.
