Overnight Lenten Fast

March 2 @ 6pm to March 3 @ 6pm – Church Hall Attention all youth Grade 7 & older, please join the Youth Group for our annual Lenten fast. The fast features inspirational speakers, group activ-ities, prayer, fasting & of course Mass. As part of Lent we also partici-pate in alms giving. Each youth gathers sponsors for the fast and the

proceeds are donated to charities. Permission/ Sponsor Sheets will be available in the front entrance of the

Society of St. Vincent de Paul—Bundle Sunday

The St. Vincent de Paul Truck will be in the St. Joseph the Worker parking lot

after each Mass on the weekend of March 10th and 11th. Gently used clothing, footwear, bedding, dra-pery, towels and toys are greatly appreciated. Please refrain from donating books, construction materials, dishes, furniture, VHS video’s and audio cassettes.

Theology on Tap is coming to Durham Region The Catholic Student Association for UOIT & Durham College is hosting their first event at Simcoe House Ales & Grill (2200 Simcoe St. N., Oshawa) on Tuesday, February 27th at 7:00 pm. The topic for the evening is “The Fruit of Mercy is Joy” presented by Dr. Josephine Lombardi, Associate Professor at St. Augustine’s Seminary. We invite all young adults ages 19-39 to come out to this exciting opportunity learn and talk about theology in a relaxed and comfortable setting!
