Ever feel like you are out there alone? Why not try our STEPHEN MINISTRY?
Our Lady of Victory has had this program successfully in place for 8 years. There is a trained parishioner waiting to meet with you for support and sharing. No charge, no long term commitment and all confidential!
To learn more about this program, please call the STEPHEN MINISTRY confidential message line at (248) 349-0216 and leave your name and phone number. A Stephen Minister Leader will return your call.
In today’s Gospel (Matthew 5:38-48), Jesus challenges us by saying: “You must be perfected as your heavenly Father is perfect.”
As Vincentians, we try to help the poor in such a way that they will be able to help themselves and thus rise out of their poverty in
a way that is in harmony with their human dignity. The work Vincentians do for the poor is a work of faith. Activated by the
grace of Our Lord Jesus Christ and inspired by the example of St. Vincent, we try to bring the healing hand of Christ to those in need. This is the challenge that faces the Vincentian Family
today. (McCullen, Deep Down Things, p.738)
To learn more about OLV’s St. Vincent de Paul family, please leave your name and contact information on the OLV SVdP Hotline (248) 349-2622 or email to: [email protected], and a Vincentian will contact you. Or, you are welcome to join us at our next SVdP meeting on Tuesday, February 25, at 7:00 p.m., in the St. John XXIII Room.
