ABOUT THE PROGRAM: This program will help HR professionals identify and respond to substance abuse in the workplace. We will review drug-related statistics for Wisconsin and Brown County as well as the various types of legal and illegal drugs. Officer Windorff will review the warning signs and symptoms of drug abuse in the workforce and how to identify these signs in employees. We will take you through the steps to establish a drug-free workplace. Including: 1. Writing a substance abuse policy 2. Training supervisors 3. Educating your employees 4. Providing employee assistance 5. Drug testing ABOUT THE SPEAKER: Narcotics Investigator Ryan Windorff is a Public Safety Officer with the Ashwaubenon Department of Public Safety currently assigned to the Brown County Drug Task Force. The Brown County Drug Task Force is a full time investigatory unit that investigates controlled substance violations at the state and federal level. The Brown County Drug Task Force is a multi-jurisdictional unit made up of officers from the Brown County Sheriff’s Office, Green Bay Police Department, De Pere Police Department and Ashwaubenon Department of Public Safety and works frequently with the Wisconsin Department of Justice Division of Criminal Investigation and the United States Drug Enforcement Administration.
