The National Hispanic Business Women Association held its annual sponsor’s appreciation event on January 6, Three Kings Day, with board members and representatives of companies and organizations that support NHBWA’s events and mission.
“We are very excited as we prepare for our annual awards and scholarship event coming up this May,” said Yobany Banks-McKay, NHBWA President and representative of valued sponsor of the organization, UPS.“We want to thank our sponsors for the help they provide our organization year-round which in turn has helped us reach out to women entrepreneurs and offer them workshops and networking opportunities,” added Banks-McKay.“We, at The Principal Financial Group, are very pleased to support a leading women business organization here in Orange County,” said Jeff Golan, the Regional Manager Director. The Principal Financial Group was the main sponsor of various major NHBWA events held in 2010, including Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez’s annual Latina empowerment luncheon.
