February 10, 2019 – 5th Sunday in Ord. Time “Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘Whom shall I send? Who will go for us?’ ‘Here I am,’ I said, ‘send me!’” (Isaiah 6:8) Every day, in little ways and in big ways, God asks, “Whom

shall I send?” Whether it is someone to take on a new

ministry, to give a friendly smile to a stranger or say a word

of encouragement to a friend, God constantly provides

opportunities to help someone in need. The next time you

hear God calling, have the courage to walk through the

door and say “Here I am, Lord.”

As this is the 2nd Sunday of the month, there will be a

second collection today to help us in our ministry.

Thank you.

There are still a few 2019 OFFERTORY ENVELOPES

left. Please pick up your envelopes at the back tables near

the main entrance. If you cannot find your envelopes and

would like a set, or if your address has changed, please

call the Parish Office at (306) 565-0909 or fill in the

registration form in the bulletin and drop it off in the

offertory basket. This is important for income tax receipts.

CWL 2019 membership is now due. Please contact Margaret at (306) 352-2908 for more information. Monthly meeting is every 1st Saturday of the month.

Thank you again to those who have

volunteered to help the CWL in their catering

ministry. Your generosity is much appreciated and

much needed. However, so as not to have to call

on the same people for each function, we are still

calling for volunteers who are able to help in the

kitchen during the day.

peace: Where there is hatred, let me sow love;

Where there is injury, pardon; Where there is doubt, faith;

Hail Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy. Hail our life, our sweetness and our hope!

To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve.

To thee do we send up our sighs, Mourning and weeping in this valley of tears!

Turn then O most gracious Advocate, Thine eyes of mercy toward us,

And after this, our exile, show unto us The blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus.

O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary. Pray for us, O holy Mother of God.

That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
