Many roads across northeast Montana are ice covered,or partially covered, making travel difficult. Beaver Creeknear Hinsdale has risen several feet in the last 36 hours andis expected to reach flood stage today. Excessive snow meltrunoff, with possible ice jams, is causing the rapid rise. Aflood warning is in effect for the areas between Saco andHinsdale at this time.
