2016 MEAT CANNING PROJECT

The 2016 “Meat Canning Project” is scheduled for TUESDAY, APRIL 5th

The work hours will be from 6 am to 12 noon, with lunch & transportation provided.

MESSENGER MAGAZINE

Subscriptions are due TODAY. Messenger, the magazine of the Church of the Brethren, is now ready

for you to read and learn about the Church of the Brethren. If you want a subscription, it is $14.50 for 1 year or $27.60 for 2 years. Make

your check payable to WYCOB and give to Barb in the church office TODAY. Any questions, see Darlis Parker, Messenger Representative.

Your help is needed for the annual Easter Egg Hunt (3/19/16)

We are again collecting donations of wrapped candy, quarters, and small prizes to fill the plastic eggs. This year, we do not need any

plastic eggs, just the filler items. All items in any quantity would be greatly appreciated. Please place your donations in the box marked

“Easter Egg Hunt,” in the narthex no later than Sunday, March 13, 2016.

We will be having a snack time after the hunt- if you would be willing to donate a healthy snack or drink, please list your name and

snack/drink you’ll be donating on the sign-up sheet in the narthex. If you have any questions- please contact one of us. Thank you.

SPONSOR OPPORTUNITIES There is an opportunity for the people of WYCOB to help offset the cost of printing the bulletin each week or the newsletter

each month. For $10.00 you can sponsor the bulletin for 1 week; or for $15.00 you

can sponsor the newsletter for 1 month. Also, you can provide flowers for on the altar for our worship service on a Sunday morning. The sign up sheets to sponsor the bulletin, newsletter and flowers are hanging in the

narthex by the door.

Easter Egg Hunt Saturday, March 19, 2016

All children (ages birth-12) are invited to participate in the annual Easter Egg Hunt on March 19th.

Those interested in joining in the fun, please bring a basket and meet in the sanctuary at 10:00 am. (Registration begins at 9:30 am)

The 2016 WYCOB Yard Sale/Chicken BBQ is scheduled for

SATURDAY, APRIL 9TH. Your donations will assist many

individuals in need. Please begin gathering those “once loved items”.

Clothing donations can be placed in the middle room in the kitchen hallway. Other items can be placed in the

garage at the office. More information to follow. Please see Larry & Beth Marshall or Bill Fulmele for

auctioned. The funds raised by the auction provide services to low income children who are at risk of being abused or who are
