ULTIMATE SESSION
Phil Clark says he’s still pinching himself after a week’s session on Vallee Lake 1. Phil took advantage of his winter ticket and fished the week December 3rd to 10th and had an absolutely awesome week, catching an incredible 883lb of fish comprising of 22 fish averaging over 40lb!
Carp included: 3 x 50s (55lb 4oz, 54lb 10oz, 53lb 2oz), 8 x 40s (45lb 4oz, 48lb 6oz, 47lb 8oz, 45lb 10oz, 41lb 2oz, 41lb, 41lb, 45lb 5oz), 10 x 30s (38lb 2oz, 31lb 8oz, 34lb 8oz, 34lb 6oz, 32lb 2oz, 35lb 12oz, 37lb 8oz, 34lb 6oz, 31lb 4oz, 37lb 4oz) and 2 x 20s (28lb 12oz, 29lb 1oz).
Phil fished Swim 9 and at range, boating his bait out to the middle of the lake. Fishing the lake on his own, Phil took full advantage of the windy and wet conditions with low pressure, the fish were certainly on the feed.
“What an absolutely incredible week, I couldn’t have asked for more!” stated an overjoyed Phil. “That’s by far my best ever session, let alone in winter. I’m an avid French carp angler and go at least seven times a year to different venues and this has topped the lot. Thanks to Mark for coming out in the early hours to photograph my fish – on more than one occasion!”
