Fleet Maintenance SupervisorFEATURED POSITION
T H E P O S I T I O N
Required Education. We are looking for a candidate with 5 years of experience and 1-2 years of supervisory experience in fleet maintenance and repairs; or equivalent combination of education and related experience. Candidates must have a high school degree or GED, possess a valid driver’s license, complete a Sysco approved defensive driving program and have working knowledge of diesel engines, refrigeration, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and braking systems. We provide extensive training opportunities and place a high value on certifications. Candidates with a Class A CDL, two years of medium/Heavy Duty truck training, Automotive Service Excellence (ASE), Mobile Refrigeration (EPA 608) Core and Type II Certifications are preferred. Candidates should also have Annual Inspector and Brake Inspector Certification knowledge, skills and abilities. Upon hiring, employee must complete the Sysco Powered Industrial Equipment Certification within 3 months.
Work-Life Balance. This position works non-traditional business hours including evenings, nights, weekends, holidays and is on-call. Some travel is required to other Sysco operating companies or the corporate office for training.
