Opening title card
A hundred years ago the inhabitants of the hamlet of Knowlton
Downs were plagued by frequent werewolf attacks. One day, in late
winter, the people decided that they would no longer stand for it
and decided to destroy all the werewolves. They mounted a vicious
attack which saw the local church burn to the ground in the
perusing battle. The final wolf was defeated in these grounds and
to commemorate their victory the people lit a candle in the ruined
churchyard. It is believed that it shall burn forever to ward off
any further wolves. When the candle goes out, the wolves willreturn.
Title card.
THE FEARLESS WEREWOLF KILLERS
cut to:
EXT. Forest. Day
We open with shots of sunlight filtering through the trees. Over
these images are the sounds of an axe cutting through wood. We
then cut to a wide shot of a woodsman cutting down trees. Close up
of woodsman finishing his work and collecting his bundles of wood.
This is Charlie Warren. He starts to make his way home.
cut to:
EXT. Ruined church. Day
Charlie stops off in the ruined church for a rest. He sits down
and takes out his hip flask for a drink. Looking round the church
he notices that the candle has become extinguished. Realizing what
this means he stumbles to his feet, drops his hip flask and runs
from the church, leaving his bundles of wood and axe behind.

EXT. Field. Day

Heading towards the town, to warn the others, he hears the sound
of a werewolf howling in the background. He nearly reaches the
road when suddenly the werewolf jumps out and attacks him.

Ext. Hill. day
A local woman, Alex Kessler, sees the attack on top of he hill. She runs down the side of the hill and out of shot..
time cut to:
INT. foot of hill . Day
In a local house a group of villagers have gathered together and
are planning to kill the two werewolves. They discuss the legend
and how the woodsman must now be a werewolf.
SGT Chris fisher
Now you all know why we're gathered here. The worst has been
feared and now it's happened.
The villagers look at each other, anxious and fearful.
SGT CHRIS FISHER
It's returned.
Gasps from the crowd. The local vicar, Rev David Goodman, steps
forward.
REV David Goodman
This is what happens when you stray too far from God. I have
warned you all. I told you this day would come if you all lead alife of sin.
Sam Barton
Shut up you old fool. No-one cares what you think. We need
decisive action, not preaching. What has religion ever solved?
SGT CHRIS FISHER
Sams right. We know what we need to do. If the werewolf has got
Charlie Warren, then he must have turned aswell. That means
there's two wolves out on the moors we need to destroy. Luckily it
just so happens that I have some silver bullets stacked away forjust this occasion. So if you guys can lure the wolves out with
fire, I can take a shot at them to finish them off.
Karen Fisher
So we're all gonna act as bait so you can get a clear shot and
shoot them?
SGT CHRIS FISHER
That's the plan.
SAM BARTON
Sounds good to me.
KAREN FISHER

Me too.
Alex Fisher
What happens if one of us gets bitten.
SGT CHRIS FISHER
Well if the wolf doesn't finish you off then one of us will have
to. You will without doubt turn into one of those creatures.
SAM BARTON
What if we're not sure if someone is going to turn? I mean you'll
only turn if you get bitten, not simply scratched by the wolf.
SGT CHRIS FISHER
Shoot them in the face regardless..It's better safe than sorry.
Right, we should head off before it gets dark.
REV DAVID GOODMAN
What about having a little pray first?
SAM BARTON
There's no time old man.
Sam pushes the reverend to the floor.
SAM BARTON
We've got to get going.
They climb up the side of the hill. We cut to the other side to
see them appear on the ridge holding flaming torches.
cut to:
EXT. FIELD. DAY
The group of villagers, consisting of the local vicar and police,
make their way across the field with flaming torches.
SGT CHRIS FISHER
I think the best thing for us to do is split up into two groups.
That way we can cover more ground.
ALEX FISHER
Is that really wise?
SGT CHRIS FISHER
yes.
They break off into two groups. Karen and Sam go off in one
direction, David, Chris and Alex go off in the other. The camera
follows Karen and Sam. The walk into the church. We see a POV shot
of the wolf watching them through the front door. Cut back to
Karen and Sam.
SAM BARTON
I think I can hear a sound.

He turns towards the front door shot. We cut to a POV of the wolf
coming round from the door. It jumps up and bits Sanm on the arm.
He turns round and grabs Karen. Uses her as a human shield. It
scraches her arm. He kills the wolf the axe. Sam looks at Karen.
SAM BARTON
Are you alright?Karen looks down at the scratch on her arm. Sam also looks at the
wound. She turns back to Sam.
KAREN FISHER
It's o.k. I think it's only a scrat...
Before Karen has had a chance to finish her sentence, Sam has
swung the axe into her neck. She falls to the ground in a river of
blood, dying at his feet. POV of both Sam and Karen for axe
killing. Sam leaves the church.
cut to:
EXT. FIELD. DAY
Sam joins the others.
SAM BARTON
Hey guys. I got one of the wolves in the church. It got Karen
though and I had to finish her off.
REV DAVID GOODMAN
May God have mercy upon your soul for killing one of his
creations.SGT CHRIS FISHER
Are you sure she's dead.
SAM BARTON
Yeah, I buried the axe pretty deeply in her face.
SGT CHRIS FISHER
Good job. Right, where's the other one.
Before anyone has a chance to answer, the wolf pops up next to
him. Everyone has failed to notice it arrive. It waits behind foran antagonising length of time. Alex calls out.
ALEX FISHER
Look out.
The other wolf jumps at Chris knocking him to the ground. His gun
falls just out of reach. Chris holds him back with his feet whilst
he struggles for his gun. Instead of reaching him his gun, Rev
Goodman just starts to hit the wolf on it's back with his bible.
REV DAVID GOODMAN
The power of Christ compels you. The power of Christ compels you.
Alex, realizing that the Reverend isn't really helping, runs over
and picks up the axe. She kills the second werewolf. It falls to

the ground, dead. Alex and Chris lay exhausted on the floor. David
stands over them.
REV DAVID GOODMAN
No need to thank me.
Time cut to:
Int. ruined Church. Day
The hold a ceremony for the death. The stand around in a circle
with a few of the dead bodies under sheets. Sam has now rejoined
the group.
REV DAVID GOODMAN
Well I think we all owe God a thank you for helping us tonight.
The people all roll their eyes.
REV DAVID GOODMAN
Now the candle has been re-lit, may the beasts never return.
He turns towards Chris.
REV DAVID GOODMAN
Mr Fisher, may you say a little prayer for the fallen?
SGT CHRIS FISHER
It's getting late and we have some bodies to bury.
REV DAVID GOODMAN
It's never too late for a little prayer.
SGT CHRIS FISHER
Yes it is.
They start to carry the bodies away. Sam moves over to the
reverend.
SAM BARTON
I'll stay with you and have a little prayer.
Rev David smiles and bows his head. Sam turns round to make sure
that the others have left the area. Still bowed David looks over
at Sams arm. Sam has now rolled his sleeve up and has exposed thegunshot wound. David lifts his head to see that Sams eyes are now
a dark red color. He smiles, exposing his fangs. The reverend
freezes with fear. Sam bends down and extinguishes the candle. The
sound of a werewolf howling can be heard over the soundtrack.
