appioved specialties apart from conducting NEET-PG, NEET-SS, NEET-MDS'

NBE also administers post graduate and postdoctoral courses in various disciplines of

modern medicine. NBE has accredited cenlres for offering fellowship prograrnme in various

sub-specialties. selection of students to the fellowship programme is based on an entrance

test and admission to the course$ wilt be through centralized merit-based counselling. The

trainee will go through a structured training programme, maintain a performance record book

and undergo an examination at the end of the training. Students will be awarded Fellow of

National Board of Examinations (FNB) at the annual convocation of NBE'

This year oilwards, NBE is offering Fellowship Programme for tnternational $tudents (FPIS)

also. The applications from lnternational students are going to be invited online from

L. Introduction

The Covernment of trndia established the Natir"rnal Board of

Examinations (NBE) in 1975 with the objective of improving the quality

of the Medical Education by establishing high and uniform standards

of postgraduate exanrinations in rnodern medicine on All [ndia Basis

and utitrizing existing healthcare infrastructure for capacity building.

The prime objectives of NBE is to elevate the starrdards of post

graduate nredical education in modern medicine and conducting

examinations of high standard on an a}l tndia basis.

NBE provides a common national standard for evaluation of minimum

3.1. FET 2021 - FPIS is a qualifving-cun1-ranking exanlination ONLY

for INTERT{ATIONAL STUDENTS to secure adilrissiorr to Fellow

of National Board {FNB) courses uf 2020 admission session.

Shrdents shall be atinritted to FNB Courses for 2020 adnrission

session.

3.2. Stuctents may kindty rrote tlrat appearance in FET 20?1 - FPIS does

not confer any automatic rights io secure a Fellowship seat"'fhe

selection and admission to Fellowship l'rogramme in any lrlational

3'9' Applications of students producing false or fabricatecl informatieinshall not be considered and sfudents may be further clebarred fnrnrappearing in any future exarnirrations conductec{ by NBE/MoIIFW / other Institutions.

3.10.Students u'ho fail to submit duly completed applications withrequisite documents and/or fail to rectify the deficiencies in theapplication by the last date prescribed for rectiiication shall bedeclared ineligible. Admit Card shall not be issued to studentswho are declared ineligible. In such cases, the entire fees will beforfeited.

be cluly registered with appropriate registering ar-rthc'rrity in his/her own country where from helshe has obtained hislher PC

Medical qualification which is duly recognized by the

correspollding Medical Council or concerned authority and

applicable provisions of the National Medical Commission Actl the

repealed indian Medical Council Act.If it is iound at any stage ihat

the PC Medical qualification of the siudent is not a recogr^rized

qualification, the candidature/ result shall be cancelled / dcemed tct

be cancelled-

3.15.Students should go through this bulletin carefully for eligilrilit,vcriteria before applying. Queries pertaining to eligibility and other

issues will only be entertained if the informatiorr requested is not

given in the bulletin of information trrNBEwebsite.No Queries of

the Guardians/Parents/Spouse rvill be entertained on telephone

with regard to the eligil"rility and diselosure of the results.

4.1. Examination Fee

'Excluding charges as may be applicable by various payment gateways-

Applications forms once submitted cannot be withdrawn. Fee shall

neither be carried forwarcl to a future date nor refunded under any

circumstances. Application once submitted cantrot be withdrawn.

been declared ineligible due to any reason will be forfeited.
