HPRA - 2018 Budget
Net income allows for purchase of racing shells and other equipment
• Hyde Park School District pays for:Coaches, transportation, entry fees, insurance, hotel rooms for coaches/bus drivers at away races

Boathouse FeesAlmost 90% of HPRA budgeted income is through the boathouse fee
FDR Boathouse Fee: Novice rowers $450 Varsity rowers $500
To cut down on number of payments for varsity rowers, hotel/food charges for away races will be included in the overall payment due (an add’l $300; 3 races @ $100 each)
Payment schedule:Payment #1: Due March 24th (in conjunction with Flower Pickup)Payment #2: Due April 27th
Novice $225 per payment Varsity $400 per payment
Payment by check made payable to HPRATreasurer to provide payment envelopes and can be placed in the lock box within the FDR bay at boathouse (DO NOT PUT CASH PAYMENTS IN THE LOCK BOX – If cash payment is preferred, Treasurer to provide dates to make cash payments at boathouse)
To minimize your out of pocket cost:Profits received from the Flower Sale and Sponsor T-Shirt will go directly to rower’s boathouse fee.
If your individual profit exceeds the cost of the rower’s fee, it will be applied toward charges for hotels for away races
DO NOT KEEP ANY OF THE MONEY FROM THE FLOWER SALE. THE PROFITWILL BE CALCULATED AFTER ALL ORDERS & MONEY HAS BEEN COLLECTED

Uniforms• Uniforms are required to race; all rowers/coxswains must wear same style uniforms• Novice – one t-shirt is included in rower’s fee, rowing shorts need to be purchased separately• Varsity – must order online through team store site. Varsity rowers will be given the info this week• Uniforms take 6-8 weeks to process & ship. In order for rowers to be in uniform for the racing season ALL orders must be completed on team store by midnight, March 9th (orders placed after March 9th will be treated as individual orders and not guaranteed to arrive before the first race).

US Rowing WaiverHave your athletes sign their online US Rowing waivers:
1) Visit https://membership.usrowing.org/ – click on Sign Waiver
1) Click on Individuals (JOIN, if new – MEMBERS, if previously joined)
2) Enter the Club Access Code: MDUHK
3) This will provide access to a series of information questions – when the athlete follows these steps, he/she is AUTOMATICALLY adding him/herself to the roster
4) As part of the process, US Rowing does charge a $9.75 administration fee

Online Registration for Spring SportsThe school district has transitioned to an online registration process for all our interscholastic sports. If your student has already participated in an interscholastic sport this school year, you have probably already used the Family ID online registration process. If not, you'll have to set up an account.
The online registration for Varstiy/FDR spring sports opened on Monday, February 5th. The online registration for Modified/Novice/Haviland spring sports opened on Monday, February 12th. The varsity season starts on March 5th and the novice season starts on March 12th. Please register your student for crew as soon as possible. If there are any issues with the registration, you'll get an email from one of the nurses at FDR or Haviland.
There are two ways you can access Family ID. You can go to www.familyid.com or go to the school district main page and click on Athletics. On the right side of that page, you will click on Link to Family ID located under Medical Clearance and Family ID. The program is Hyde Park Central School District. The website is user friendly. If you have any questions, you can call the nurses office at either FDR or Haviland or contact Sue Cerulli directly.
