CONTRIBUTION IN NEWSPAPERS AND JOURNALS Professor Tuqan participated actively in writing, corresponding, editing and
publishing of newspapers and journals in the Arab World, mostly in Jordan.
His contributions varied from editor, writer, correspondent, publisher and

CONTRIBUTION IN MASS MEDIA (RADIO & TV) Professor Tuqan contributed extensively in mass media:
Researching, preparation of material and scenarios, writing scripts,
presentation on the air, directing and participation in production of more
than 50 Cinema 16mm films and TV programs and serials: cultural, political
and documentary, amounting to 240 episodes totaling 130 hours.
TV programs = 220 episodes totaling 120 broadcasting hours
Films (16mm) = 20 films totaling 9 hours
Languages: Arabic, English and French (some were translated to German
and Spanish)
Professor Tuqan also was an expert guest in more than 60 programs on Arab
and foreign TV satellite stations in subjects such as: language, literature,
poetry, culture, history, archaeology, politics, sports and religious affairs.
Professor Tuqan participated in writing and presenting as well in being an
expert guest on various subjects such as: language, literature, poetry, culture,
history, archaeology, politics, sports and religious affairs, totaling 100 hours
of broadcasting on Arab and foreign radio station such as: BBC, Jordan,
MBC, Saudi, Emirates, Dubai, Bahrain, Iraq and others.
