Glenn Fawdry began building homes in the Kelowna area in 1976. Since that time, he and his professional staff have built

a reputation for their high standards and their commitment to the utmost in quality. The extensive paperwork used pre-build, takes any guesswork out of the process of building your dream home.

Awareness of the environment, energy efficiency and indoor air quality has always been a priority for Fawdry and his company, starting with the building of the first R-2000 home in this area in 1984. Glenn is an instructor in Building Sciences and R-2000 requirements, and has taught both locally and internationally. He is also a registered housing professional, a certified residential builder and is rated as a Master Builder, which is the highest level attainable from the former New Home Warranty Program. He and his company continue to learn and strive to keep current on the latest technologies, including geothermal and solar energies. Special air quality packages are also available for the chemically sensitive clients, providing them with a healthy environment.

Fawdry Homes has been recognized at local, provincial and national levels, with over 40 awards including numerous Tommie’s and Georgie’s. He has won the Canadian Home Builders “Builder of the Year” award and has also been twice recognized by CHBC with the presentation of their prestigious “Innovator Award” for contributions in new building ideas.

Welcome to Gallagher’s Canyon

Recently, our company, CRC Development, made the decision to close our home construction division at Gallagher’s Canyon, in order to direct our energies to our other projects. It was up to me to find the best builder to take over the construction operation to complete the 70 homes left to build within the development. It did not take me long to decide that it was Glenn Fawdry, that I wanted to talk to and right from the start felt that it would be a good fit. Glenn was excited to do it.

He has been building healthy and efficient homes in the Okanagan for over 30 yrs. He and his excellent team, have been awarded with numerous Tommie and Georgie awards in recognition of their quality building. He has a sincere concern for the environment, both inside and outside the home. Glenn built the first R2000 energy efficient home in the Valley, and has helped people with allergies and chemical sensitivities to create a comfortable home environment. He was also the first distributor of geothermal systems here. He, and his professional staff, make a united effort to listen to their clients so that they will have the dream home they desire.
