Maybelline Summer Trendsetter, how does winning the title feel? It feels amazing. The term win has such a good vibe to it and achieving a winning title is always a good feeling. Big Hair Loud Mouth, thats quite an interesting blog name. What was the inspiration behind it? This is something Ive been asked frequently and when I founded the blog I wanted the name to be unique and something thats different and catchy. So I thought about things that constitute a perfect look, and for me that would be the hairstyle and my lipstick preference, besides the choice of outfit. I prefer bold lips and hence Loud

But the reason I chose the blog title to have a name that screamed was primarily because of two reasons - BIG since someday I want the blog to be popular to be seen by many and "LOUD" because I want people to hear about us. Your blog clearly establishes you as a modern fashion icon. How does it feel to be an inspirational trendsetter? Thank you for such kind words. Im glad you see me as a Modern Fashion Icon. I dont consider myself a trendsetter to be really honest. I just see myself as a woman who enjoys dressing up passionately and creating looks that make me feel stylish and different. What inspired your passion for fashion? Everything around me! I tend to notice everything a person wears irrespective of whether it suits my taste or not and unconsciously Im always getting inspired by the different ways an outfit is put together and I try to incorporate those ideas in the outfit I eventually put together. Your tastes in fashion have won you loads of appreciation from big brands in the industry. How does it feel to be associated with the big names in fashion? 3. It makes me hopeful. The blogging industry is not exploited to its full extent in the Indian market and I feel hopeful that big brands are seeing our efforts and motivating us through collaborations which make blogging more exciting. What is your number one fashion mantra? Always wear things that make you feel you. Your looks are not only inspired by your high tastes in fashion; you also emphasize beauty. What beauty advice do you have for our readers? I would say its fun to experiment with makeup and Im just venturing into making beauty posts. Im not a beauty guru but I try to research before making a post so that I dont mislead BHLM readers. I use makeup almost every day but I make it a point to religiously remove it with a makeup remover every night because an unclean face always leads to skin breakouts for any type of skin. If you were to name your all time favourite fashion brands, what would they be? Fashion is an emerging market, it is always evolving and trends are always changing. So I have no particular favourite brand/ brands since I like indulging in products from different brands. 4. What, according to you is the seasons most popular fashion trend? Denim. It is timeless. It is versatile. You are defined as a fashion icon, stylist, trendsetter and fashion guru; but what, according to you, defines you best? These are high and mighty titles. I just think of myself as someone who makes a little effort in dressing up.
