Fashion Update – Colour
Spring/Summer 2016
Introduction to this season’s colour story for Springs
Dresses continue to increase in popularity this season moving towards a more feminine look. Wide-leg trousers are the most important lower silhouette and stripes and florals lead the print and pattern trend.
Colour has no limit for Spring/Summer 2016, as rich, vibrant hues add new dimension to bold neutrals, while whisper-pale tones on lightweight sheers provide an invigorating freshness for a feminine summer feel.
Saturated brights were very popular on catwalks, spotted in bold and creative looks. Worn head-to-toe or spliced with contrasting tones, strong shades of red, Coral, Tangerine and blues lend a confident and vibrant energy to structured silhouettes.
Balance these vibrant shades with soft neutrals from sandy tones to Light Dove Grey and Bright Blue for a more wearable look.
