The most notable change that will be coming next spring is in the form of color. Spring and summer are often known as the time when bright, flashy colors are the norm. Next year though, earth colors and tones are said to be all the rage. This is the culmination of a build up that has been happening for a few years now, with women trending towards more natural looks to bring out their beauty. Ridiculous ensembles (or anything that Lady Gaga is wearing) are very quickly losing favor.

For men, the natural looks is also poised to be one of the more popular fashion trends of 2013. This really isn’t anything new, with the “jean and dark t shirt” look holding onto its popularity for many decades. More formal wear is trending towards dark and neutral colors though, hopefully signalling an end to the hot pink t’s and dress shirts that gained popularity in the early 2000s.
