>Could you define your music style? Progressive Soul.

>How about your fashion taste? Timeless.

>Fashion trends and music culture go hand in hand. How do you think the music you like to play influences the way you look? The music I play is deeply inspired by the black queer experience of the Chicago underground. Clothing was used as a form of self-expression, not status. Self-expression is way more exciting to me than bourgeois forms of dress.

>You always refer to this Frankie Knuckles quote: “Once you become more important than the music, then you’re finished”. Do you think DJs nowadays are receiving much more attention than their music itself? Yes, due to social media. In my opinion it seems more important for many about how the party looks on IG than the actual music.

>When do we get to see “Honey Fucking Dijon” x Comme des Garçons collaboration? Very soon. October is the expected launch. Things can change though, it is fashion after all.

hen it comes to fashion and Ibiza, one of the first things that come to mind would be Adlib. This concept encloses the style and spirit of the island in the form of apparel. Having its roots in the traditional garments of Ibiza’s local population - straw hats, espadrilles, natural fabrics, embroideries and

lace works. The Adlib fashion – word taken from “Ad Libitum” meaning “freely”- was founded in the early seventies and was led by its one-of-a-kind ambassador, the Yugoslavian princess Smilja Mihailovitch, who encouraged the wear what you want, but do it with style island motto.

Ibiza has also been a perfect setting for fashion editorials for Haute Couture brands featured in magazines all around the world. The island´s hectic nightlife and its day time quiet time in paradise have always been a magnet for designers, top models, jetsetters, and celebrities of all times. Summer in the island is the perfect trend laboratory.

This experimental side of Ibiza is manifested in music as well in music. You can find parties of all kinds anytime: from the seventies through the nineties hits, to house classics and Balearic sounds, to the latest EDM, urban beats and underground notes.

One of Pacha Ibiza’s new parties is Transmoderna – where Dixon and his guests allow themselves to create a new club atmosphere through uniqueness and refined new sounds.

Honey Dijon will be one of Dixon’s guest artists this September. Strongly committed to creativity, she has just started engaging into fashion as she is into music. Let’s catch a glance of her own perspective…

QUOTING… DIXONA true berlin sound has finally arrived to the island led by Steffen Berkhann, better known as Dixon. He has played at some of Ibiza’s biggest nights for many years but we proudly introduce him as part of this years cast of Pacha resident DJS.

Dixon is a creative musical influencer as well as a trendsetter very related to the fashion world. Two years ago he launched the brand Together We Dance Alone - a unisex label with a colorful style - to be able to express beyond music.

>Why did you choose to dive into the swimwear world?

For many years I worked in the fashion world and I’ve always wanted to create my own fashion brand. Swimsuits are by far one of my summer favorites and what inspire me the most when I design.

>Which are your favorite holiday corners and why?

Spain is a country abound with holiday options by the sea and that is exactly what I enjoy doing during my holidays. Among my favorites are Tarifa, the beaches in the north of Spain and Ibiza & Formentera – where I keep some of my best summer memories, years and years of beach days, parties and rest.

>Suitcase essentials to travel to Ibiza & Formentera…

My bikinis and swimsuits, and the attitude to break away from routine and enjoy the fun.

>What do you take back home from your island holidays?

I’ve been travelling to Ibiza and Formentera ever since I got out of college, fascinated by their light and their aquamarine waters from the very beginning. But it is a mix of things that make these islands unique. Sailing around the island is exceptionally beautiful. Formentera’s peaceful sunsets and crystal-clear waters, the islands’ cuisine, and above all; the people from Ibiza that always make - from a friendly dinner at home to a party at Pacha – the greatest memories.

>What is your best memory regarding Pacha to date?

I used to love one of its corners next to the Funky Room, popularly called “Barra de Rosseta”!
