2. Greek armor: horse a sign of wealth. Full armor, only few exist. Matching set. Leather

strap at shoulder. Wore over a linen tunic.Seated soldier.

3. Papua New Guinea: woven body mask with leaves. Ceremonial to honor the

death of a man. Wore only once. Left after the 23 h ceremonies in the forest to

disintegrate.

4. Precolombian: golden burial objects.Gold earpiece: colored messengers holding a

mother of pearl message, to be worn by leading men.

Silver and gold nosepieces: silver representing the moon and gold the sun, to cover mouth. And holding serpent on the sides signified continuity

of life.

roses, the sign of Charles VII. Men and women wore headpieces with hanging scarf over one

side.

looking slashed silk tunic. Gathered from clothing of defeated men in sword fight. He's

wearing linen undershirt.
