The Final of the World War II and many revolutions in that time changed the industry of fashion and the refuge of the women was the house. The “look” of the 50s was the perfect housewife.

WHAT DID THEY WEAR?

The tight dress was very common in this time, with the dress, they used to wear belt. They wore it for to highlight their waist . As this clothes, the gloves were also indispensable. They had to wear a scarf in the hair if they would drive a car. The underwear was armed bra. All of women put on make-up, for it they used a lot of colors, especially turquoise in the eyes and orange in the lips.

The colors of the eyes had to go well with their handbags.

I think there are more varieties of clothes now .Women don´t only can to wear dress, we also wear skirts, mini-skirts, trousers, jeans....The government allow to wear all manner of clothes.

Now the style is the funniest , because each girl want to search her own style. Young and no-young like to wear dress more tighter than before and we also like the trousers and jeans more tight. Most of young like to wear skirts more shorter than the 50s.

Now women don´t need to put on make-up for come out . The colours of make-up go with the clothes or handbags. The colours change depending of the time.
