Corrine Day Corinne Day made a distinctive contribution to fashion photography in the early 1990's. She was one of the pioneers of a style that is candid and hard-hitting. Day continues to work for style magazines such as Ray Gun, Dazed and Confused and Vogue Homme International.28/01/1417

18. Corrine Day In contrast to the traditional and glamorous image which dominated fashion photography during the late 1980's, Days work represents a more informal, confrontational and confessional approach to the medium. She has used unconventional, and sometimes androgynous models to question the gender stereotyping found in the mainstream media and magazines. 28/01/1418

19. Glen Luchford Glen Luchford is a young photographer who reinvigorated British commercial photography in the early 1990's in such magazines as i-D and The Face. His images for the 1997 campaign for the fashion house Prada received considerable acclaim.28/01/1424

25. Glen Luchford Luchfords work to date has been mysterious and suggestive of stills from a film where the motivations of the central characters must be unravelled and completed by the viewer. He has recently exhibited with painter Jenny Saville in New York.28/01/1425

26. Glen Luchford28/01/1426

27. Glen Luchford28/01/1427

28. Mario Testino: Biography 28/01/14One of fashion's most sought-after snappers, Mario Testino was born in 1954 in Lima, Peru. He came to London in 1976, took a flat in an abandoned hospital near Trafalgar Square, and began selling portfolios (for 25, including hair and make-up) to wannabe models.30

31. Mario Testino Today he is best known for his highly polished, exotically bright ad campaigns and his exquisitely styled photographs of the couture scene all of which carry a deceptive air of nonchalance. Now at the top of his profession, Testino has shot Madonna for Versace as well as photographing the late Diana, Princess of Wales for her famous Vanity Fair cover in 1997.28/01/1431

32. Mario Testino His popularity with designers and fashion editors stems as much from his professionalism and good nature as his unerring ability to take beautiful pictures which sell clothes. Testino is also credited with bringing to an end the reign of the ubermodel: rather than pay the exorbitant fees demanded by Linda, Naomi et al, in the early Nineties Testino championed a new breed of model, including Kate Moss.28/01/1432

33.
